Nor me, it gets too complicated. I'm coming up to two years and I've more or less decided there's no need because I don't miss it in the slightest.

About 3 years for me. A divorce and also having zero interest in renewing a romantic love life. I'm much happier being single.

Reading this is quite interesting, to hear so many of you say you don't miss it/could easily go without it etc. I've only been working since September/consistently since April, when would you say this thing of "not missing it" starts? I would be quite sad if I started to lose my passion and desire for "real sex". I totally don't see work as the same thing at all, even when I enjoy it. I still crave untimed intimacy where I can tell my partner exactly what to do to me because I'm not the one getting paid, and them usually being a similar age to me is really very nice! Maybe this feeling is contingent on how much you separate work sex and casual/romantic sex? Or maybe it's because I'm just a horny teenager.

To me work does not really represent anything meaningful and fulfilling in terms of sex, and although it can be pleasurable on occasion, I forget all about it the minute they're out the door! If I approach the bookings with zero expectations of sexual gratification, then there's no chance of getting frustrated either, and helps me stay sane for sure.
