I became an escort, bacause I had a very very long shopping list, and at that time I couldn't even afford Primark. I thought that 'all the money of the world is in London' so I browsed agencies, and choose the one that sounded like a paradise on Earth ( beginner's mistake) and came to London. The agency people were absolutely crap, dodgy and controlling to the piont that I was paranoid that someone was following me around. Although I was earning not bad money (amounts that I hadn't held in my hands before), but I had to give half of the money to them, pay off a very expensive photoshoot and pay a lot of money for 'marketing', so not only was I giving them 50% comission, but also a lot of money for as they described 'marketing'. Also, i had no idea about life in London, so I randomly rented a very expensive room ( someting like ?200 a week 7 years ago) so I was left with very little cash, and still could just about afford Primark. After a month I briefly became homeless, and was travelling across London with my suitcase, and slept on night buses and arrivals hall at Heathrow.
After that I spent my last pounds on internet cafe and mobile top up, and phoned another agency.
They were great, and I was lucky to find them, I made friends with the girls, and I earned a lot of money which was soon....stolen from my rented room in west London. i had ?50 in my bag, and that was all I had. So I had to start all over again from scratch.
So I think I can say I went through quite a bit in my first months of escorting.
A lot has changed since then, and now I lead a good life and I think I was very lucky to get where I am now.
