I always used to wear hold ups, but I have invested in some stocking and suspenders and have been getting a lot more compliments for wearing them, and to be fair they are a lot more comfortable than hold ups. I think anyway.

Have a look at 'what Katie did' range, they sell some really nice suspender belts and stockingshq.com for long lasting stockings etc x

The Asda hold-ups are pretty good!

Another tip: don't put them on until the client has just been buzzed in and in the elevator on his way up (or at the last possible minute). Sitting down in them is the worst thing you can do. But if you put them on at the last minute they should be alright.

I'm getting used to using suspenders. I figured out to hook them to the stockings BEFORE putting the belt bit around my waist. Put the stockings on, but hook them up while the belt is still sort of in my lap. Then stand up and fasten. Much easier than trying to reach behind my legs to fasten. And then remove together. Can all be put back on in one go.

I'm going to invest in a six-strap (or eight) belt. I'm so tall that stocking are hard to get up my legs and they sort of pull on the suspenders. More straps should be more comfortable (or so I am given to believe.)

I bought a 6 strap belt as I thought it would make the stockings more straight at the top [ it don't much ]  but the belt still pulls down with the stockings  :0(

Just thought i'd bump this thread to say today i went to ann summers the leeds branch which was closed sure they are usually open on a sunday? Well the birmingham one opens sundays, anyway i decided to go to Marks and Spencers and i got 2 pairs of the 15 denier black lace top hold ups only 5 pounds so 3 pound cheaper than the ann summers ones and decent quality to. Think i shall get my stockings from there from now on.  :)

Yes the M&S ones are my favourite, sainsburys luxury hold ups used to be but they discontinued them, I never liked Ann Summers ones and found that pretty polly hold ups weren't sticky enough so used a suspender belt with them x

That's interesting, since our Ann Summers shop closed completely not long ago, and they have always been open on a Sunday. It's the most moneygrabbing retail outlet I've ever worked at, and I'm pretty sure they would have opened on Christmas Day if they could.

I've worn the M&S non-running ones for years, and it's great when you only have to get one new one out of a packet at a time because they all match. Plus there's free click and collect in store, so I can order what I want and then just nip in and pick them up on my way home :).

I always use a little bit of titty tape on top of the hold ups - stops them rolling down and you can wear them over and over and over again,

I used to wear hold ups, but with suspender belt (plastic fastenings).

I recently invested in a couple of nice 6 strap belts with metal fastenings, so decided to change to stockings as the hold ups were just ending up with holes in them.

The problem is though l, that even though the stockings say they are right for my size and height, they seem to end up just above my knee as if they are too short.

I use M&S in an XXL which says does up to size 24 (I'm 20-22) and I'm only 5'5 so no idea why they seem too short.
