Holidays

Do people get concerned about losing clients when they go on holiday?

I am working on Tuesday & Wednesday this week but it will be over a month before I am back working again, as I only ever work 1 or 2 days in any area every fortnight I am sure that many of my clients visit other girls in the area.

I have had several holidays already this year and find on my return I am usually quite busy with guys who have not seen me for a while.

I always find then I am always busy when I come back from time off.

I do occasionally get a half snotty message moaning that I am not working, But even then they usually still try and book when I am around again!

Nah, just make sure it is clear on you website/profile that you will be back.

No, I find most book me before, or immediately afterwards, which actually can make me busier. I don't usually get any complaints, apart from one person who thought because I didn't phone his as requested during a holiday), that I just couldn't be bothered. This was despite it being clear on my profile and website that I was taking a break, and him receiving an vacation reply.

I tend to have more problems with my regular day/days off each week not suiting, rather than taking a week or 3's break.

Not so much when I go on holiday but I have lost a few clients as I am not available the moment they decide they want to see me.  They are well aware I need 24 hours notice as I need to rest for that long to make sure I can work the next day due to my illness but they just got arsey as I was actually working on a day when they called but could not see them as I take most bookings 24 hours in advance so was booked up.
I give up, when I just did same day bookings they always booked in advance and when I changed to advance notice needed they suddenly decided they could ring 5minutes before they wanted the appointment.

Not much of a loss as they were not the nicer of clients any way but it is still frustrating.
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact

That always happens... Sometimes when I advertise were I will be working next the phone rings constantly the day before and then you go quiet on the day. You can't win!

I think punters come and go, none of us can be available to suit their needs all the time and so they will go with the girl available at the time they are feeling horny. When you are back from your holiday / break they will usually call if your work time fits in with what they want.

I'm away tomorrow. On my profile I will be offering a discount to anyone who puts an online booking in advance for the dates I return. I will log in daily and responding to bookings but won't read any emails till I get back.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

I always write a blog a bit in advance to let people know the dates I will be away. Try very hard to give myself the time off from emails while on holiday!! And then blog about my holiday and being back and refreshed when I'm home.

I took a three month break last year and panicked about losing clients. My bookings went through the roof when I returned to work! Don't worry about it :)
