Outside of work I wear flats or very low heels but for bookings it is always 5 or 6ins high heels as that is what most men love. The only walking I do is from the front door to the bedroom so no problem as I can manage that fine. I have several pairs which match or complement my outfits.

Yep me too but I like them in my regular life if I'm going to lunch etc , I'm not saying in a stuck up way because I do sale shopping mainly but some of the high end heels are seriously well padded , not Laboutins but just Faith , jones etc

Otherwise I can't walk with a wiggle lol , not if it feels like the soles of my feet are hitting the floor pavement.

Those gel pads insoles must help , I haven't tried , but I can walk in mine all day the really good ones and some are ten+ years old ( and look brand new) so well worth the extra cost

Anyone recommend any nice wide fit high heels. My feet are so squashed in normal fit ones xx

Bit of a mumsy post, but it's not a good idea to wear high heels all the time - it really knackers your knees and is likely to cause bunions. Try sticking to a 3-3.5 inch heel; they're still elegant and give the illusion of height, but are more practical to walk in. If you really feel you need to go higher, try platforms or at least something with a sturdy heel, not a sliver of stiletto.

Personally, I think 2-3 inch kitten heels look the job.

I think wearing 5+ inch heels a lot is mad, and to me at least, they don't look very classy either (don't hate me, just my opinion!!) You also need to be able to walk in them - no one looks sophisticated tottering around on vertiginous heels they're not used to.
