Porn?
« on: 11 April 2012, 10:24:46 pm »
Hi everyone have a friend or two who i think would do very well in the porn business! Does anyone know how to go about it (without being ripped off, or having to have a 'interview' that some will say is a must).  Had a look through Killergrams website as i know few people from AW have been on there.

Unless they are staggeringly lucky, they will be much better off doing escorting.

As an escort, you have vastly more choice in terms of who you are sexual with, what sexual acts you're expected to do, and who benefits financially. Doing commercial porn means total loss of privacy - there will be people promoting the fact that they have footage of you being paid to be sexual and who have all the rights in that material - and in terms of the hourly pay, escorting pays more too.

'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Totally understand all that and she already escorts and shows face pictures.  I just know she could and would make more doing both and just was asking for some advice or links i could pass onto her.

I don't know that much about the subject apart from I once watched a documentary, where there was one woman that only did a couple of films and regretted it,since its been on the internet for the last few years and sold all over the world. She said she was powerless in trying to have them removed. She now has kids and still has the horror of family and freinds seeing the films at a click of a mouse.

If you don't mind your films being available for ever more to anyone and everyone, then go for it,I would not do it for all the tea in china, and I drink alot of tea.

I think the problem with porn is that you basically aren't in control of your own content once its been signed away and others are free to make all they can out of it way beyond the initial fees paid to the actors.

I suppose the big name actors whose names you see recurring in porn may do quite well out of it but the majority I'd assume don't get all that much out of it and would be very lucky to turn it into a career. Just my opinion though.

I have done some stuff in the past and agree with all that has been said, but in saying that, like with escort agencies there are good and bad out there, finding them if they don't find you is a case of use common sense, I have never had to "audition" yes in the past i have done some work with even poorer pay than the industry average (which is poor anyway) but never any freebies.

Decent film companies will find her, until then its a case of get on directories/agency lists and what have you, she could try having a read on here http://bgafd.co.uk/forum/index.php she may find some leads.

I dont think it's worth doing, as others have said, the videos will be on the net for ever more, and now you have all these free porn tubes content is stolen from members sites and put on there available for free, not locked behind a members site.  I know people who have quit the business, got a regular job, only to be outed, and everyone they work with see the hardcore scenes they did several years ago causing all sorts of problems.

Also porn is done bareback, and it is very very risky, the STI test certs are useless in my opinion and people do catch things like Chlamydia and Gonorreahh.  At least with escorting you are using condoms so very low risk of STI's and can take all your online profiles down if you have problems.

I only just found out about that, I'm glad its a false alarm.  Makes you think is it really worth doing a bareback porn scene for ?350-?400.  Plus when there is a scare, you would would not be able to work escorting for some time until all your tests were clear.

I considered it once but not for long. I wouldn't do it now, I've got my daughter to think about and a bf too. I might not be escorting for a great deal longer and whilst I am I'd prefer to be more discreet.
I think i do have some pictures out there on the net but it's not that many and not as bad as a video or getting involved in the porn industry.

Also an awful lot of porn (but obviously not all porn, but I wonder how discriminating you'd be able to be if you wanted to make a real go of it) those girls get banged to buggery - excuse my French.  I would never let a client go at me hammer and tongs like that and as an escort you can assert control over that kind thing. In porn it is the director/ producer who decides. On top of the bareback/ HIV/ privacy issues...

Obviously it's totally up to your friend what she does. But it's Pretty hard to get into it. The amount your paid goes on how well known you are. And usually once youve done a few vids no one wants to know. I met a girl last year who was signed to one of the biggest companies in the uk. She ended up having a nervous break down because of it. She's currently going through endless legal procedures to try and get full rights to her content so it can no longer be sold. And as for big money I wouldn't say that. She was on a salary of 48k a year. Not bad I hear you say. But she did endless scenes, gangbangs anal etc etc. She was also going out with the guy that owned the company who gave her a car, also made her have a mini face lift nose job and numerous boob jobs. She was stunning but at 30 years old she didn't need all that. The porn industry fucks you up. Thankfully she's doing great now, studying for her degree and is currently writing a book. Xx

P.S- the guy dumped her after 6 months and made her give him the car back and pay him back for all the surgery.
