I think a lot of people are feeling the same, Ana. My hunch is that we've got at least another six months of this, so unless you can afford to live on your savings for that length of time, it's time to consider a Plan B.

I haven't really touched my savings but my spending habits have changed drastically as I had to adjust to "the new normal". it has been bye bye to eating out, high street shopping, holidays and beauty treatments. . Funny thing is I don't miss any of those things one bit. This pandemic has taught me that the most important things in life are not material.Things like health, love and hope. I hope I'll be able to continue "getting just by and paying the bills" for the next few months, but then god knows what will happen and how the economy will pan out. I'm a bit of a proviledged one because i don;t have children or relatives to take care. My plan B is concentrate on business, search new venues, see how the current shi-tshow maps out and upgrade my plan for the future. What I'm not going to do is stress myself as it usually leads to health problems.

For the time being I have decided to hang up my escorting shoes and wait to see how things are after the pandemic becomes more manageable.

Well, I am seriously thinking of leaving this job for a while in January of next year ... it is no longer giving me the economic benefits and also I am a little tired of this job in general ... I want to return to the Caribbean and try to to live a quiet life in the countryside, I need it urgently because I feel that this Covid thing is going to last and I don't know if I can continue paying so many bills here in Europe ...
Imagine with immense joy that you are living the life of your dreams, do it every day without exception, because this is a way to add energy to the purpose.

I’m giving it up. I’ll maybe dip back in very occasionally if I’m ever short of money but I’m going to really try and step away.
I loved doing it when I was younger and made good money but it’s so unreliable now that I would probably earn more working somewhere like a supermarket and at least I wouldn’t have to deal with the 99% of twattish clients I get.

Yes, if I'm honest I just want to see my lovely regulars and have done for a while. This virus has forced me to look at other things and now I've found something I actually want to do and if I had thought of it before I wouldn't have done this job in the first place.

Mind you, the clients I actually like and enjoy the company of I'm going to keep for a bit of extra cash and the social interaction  :)
