Never done a self defence class but I am a black belt so I have some moves hahaha! I did karate from very young and they always teach you not to use the moves anywhere else, but they would come in handy if you were ever in a bad situation.

I think self defense classes are a good idea for all girls escort or not, incase of random attacks attempted rapes and all of that. I think every girl should take a class in it!

Due to the nature of my 'real' job, I'm rather well trained in handling myself and restraining people even triple my size so I'm quite fortunate. Had a horrible experience with a client once where he shoved me into the wall by my throat when he flipped (was drunk when I arrived but no warning bells... Luckily I don't drink myself), managed to jab him a few times in quick succession then floor him. Picked up my stuff and walked out his front door to my car in full lingerie stockings and heels. Hope all his neighbours seen me too. A very bad incident but hopefully an isolated one xx

Yes - I took a course in Krav Maga and it is a huge reassurance to me.  It's also great fun!  Watch out though as it can leave a lot of bruises :S

Even just a one day self defence course may give you confidence to think ahead and be calm and cool in a bad situation, even if nothing physical happens. Also it helps you read a client's body language before they become aggressive or threatening which is a great trick. Plenty of easy tips on YTube and fun to practice with a mate. Just saying...

Great Sugar, I agree negotiation is first option while we think ahead! Ytube's got quite a bit on breakaway techniques too...all part of self defence anything like that is so valuable.

I would definitely advise self defence classes but reading body language is equally important.

You're welcome Synth, I mentioned this due to some recent posts. Totally agree Ellie. I trained in karate and judo and the massage I do is based on martial arts moves without the painful bits!
