Additionally, I despise 'end the sex industry, end the abuse which accompanies it' line. Personally, I think we should get rid of trainers, because their production (in some cases) involves exploitation and abuse.  So best just to make it illegal to buy trainers and then we won't have this issue.

I managed about 3 minutes of one of the segments on YouTube and now I'm just wondering how many extra timewasters (and worse?) that "high class" escort who appeared on the show is going to get now! When that one escort went on the X factor she got absolutely ripped to shreds, didn't she? Eep.

Yes but she was not exactly sophisticated so got noticed for the wrong reasons.
That same young lady is now charging around ?5 per minute to see her on webcam
and judging by her feedback she is doing very nicely indeed!

I'm not sure being a klassy kortesan is going to stop certain groups of less-than-nice people wanting to rip any easy targets to shreds, but I suppose if you can take the rough stuff and not get dragged down by it (I know there are people who've had nervous breakdowns due to torrents of abuse received after, say, a story about them appeared in a newspaper or magazine) then I suppose you can turn almost anything into a marketing opportunity.

I wouldn't want to deal with all the hassle of "fame" (could put an extra set of ""s around that word!) personally, but perhaps others have more energy for that sort of thing.

I watched it... most of it was the normal escort debate: 'we are victims' versus 'we are empowered'. Was kind of expecting that.

Did not very much like the inference that working for an agency was some how safer than being an indie. I also thought that the girl missed a lot of the legal things out, which was especially obvious when she wanted to actually interview an agency owner. 

Thought that it was badly researched all in all and thought that the interviews with the mum, boyfriend and friends weren't really enlightening. I did like that she picked up on the fact that it is an addictive industry though.
