It is a nice idea (apart from sounding like an obituary!
) but I think, without exception, all the girls who are/have been involved in SAAFE have got on board simply because they want to do something to try and make the industry a better/safer place. Sounds a bit cheesy but its true. No-one has done it for kudos or recognition (just as well really
) and the sort of girls who have got involved long term dont strike me as name in light sorts.
Besides, SAAFE is about so much more than the few ladies who wrote the articles, look after the techie side of things and/or mod & admin the forum. Without the hundreds of ladies (and few gents) who have passed through the forum over the years taking time to write constructive repsonses, SAAFE would not be what it is.
Posters like XW5 for example have been here from the beginning. He like many others, never judges, never gets angry, never jumps on passing bandwagons, but just posts sensible and frank advice for those who ask. That is what SAAFE is all about. Always has been, always will be. IMO, its one of those things which is greater than the sum of its parts which is why an individual hall of fame isn't really appropriate.
