Title: Hair pieces and wigs advice please ladies
Post by: Erotic flower on 21 August 2014, 04:54:51 pm
Ive been interested to find out if ladies do prefer wearing wigs as apposed to showing their own hair for clients.
Id began wearing a blonde one for some time now  so much easier, its a good disguise when necessary  ;) and even though during an over excited energetic client having sex when it slipped off once lol.!
would love to hear your stories and opinions

I really like the idea of wearing a wig - I've been growing my hair for a year and it's only just reached my chin! I just worry about it being itchy, or clients noticing when they run their fingers through my hair or something. Do you find that's ever a problem?

same here, I've been thinking about it since I spoke to you, Caroline... Have not tried before though and would hate losing it suddenly:))))

I have never really considered wearing a wig with clients... I would not be able to work with it because I like having my hair gently pulled.
Also, I would worry constantly about it slipping off. Plus I doubt they are very realistic looking when you're so close to someone and they can feel and touch it; I'm a sucker for cuddles and will cuddle anyone with a pulse and I like having my hair stroked.

I have 3/4 hair pieces but tend not to wear them (same as jewellery) when working, too much faff and they can slip

I always wear wigs for work, I used to always straighten my own hair daily and was getting damaged so I decided to wear wigs, At the start I wore one and it fell of during sex I was so embarrassed lol. I now put clips on the side of them to hold it in place & never had any problems since  :-*

I guess some clients realise its a wig, its not too obvious but I use 2 hairnets from a wig shop to keep my own hair in place and then keep checking it it does slip slightly lol

clients have touched it but not commented, the better quality ones shouldn't be itchy I got them on ebay. use hair net also for wig underneath for grip and it hopefully shouldn't irritate your scalp

I market myself as "all natural", which lots of my clients tell me is why they called, so I couldn't. I can't imagine a wig going unnoticed, and it sounds like faff (I do nothing to my hair really - just wash and let dry!)

My hair color is a part of my appeal - stark blue and often heavily stylized. I'd never wear a wig at work. However, I've been considering getting one to make booking hotels for tours easier - there is only one proper advertising venue around here and hotels often check it to pinpoint traveling prostitutes.

I would love to do wigs: just cut my hair short and wear all different sorts of wigs, changing style according to whim....

But I would worry about someone pulling it off.

I wear wigs every day really not a problem . Hair grips hold them in place blonde one day brunette the next my clients either love it often requesting style colour or don't realise.

You can get the part-weave's that you wear on the crown, allowing your fringe to show. They look more natural, but obviously you'd need the same hair colour. I have lots from my past career. I get mine from Ebay or Amazon. Trouble is, I have a tiny head and they need serious adjustment with clips and ties and I usually can't be bothered for Escorting.
I do always wear a clip-on pony tail though just as a nod to disguise( among other things ) as I am 100% certain I have been secretly filmed in the past  :-[
Clients are firmly warned not to pull it off if they get too amorous  ;)

Depending on where you are, every major department store has got a wig section. Also, amazon, but that can be a hit or miss.

you didn't specify what you wanted to use the wig for, if a photoshoot to hide your identity or due to hair problem. Wigs don't look very natural in photoshoots, I tried myself in the past and it made my head look huge and it just didn't look very natural. It might look better when its a short-haired/ bobbed wig.

Else for longer/ denser looking hair in the photos, I can recommend clip-in extensions, they will work out far cheaper if you plan to use them just for one occasion such as photos taken.

I use annabelleswigs, and then get my hair dresser to trim them so they look less wiggy. I don't splash out on human hair wigs - polyester is fine.

I tried a wig when i gave myself a bad hair cut..... i couldn't make it not look like a wig despite best efforts. But then again i didn't get a ?400 wig or anything like that, it was good quality don't get me wrong but it looked a bit alien

I wear wigs everyday with no problems whatsoever  :) always wear a hair net underneath and have never used clips. I have never had them look heavy or wiggy either, it's just a case of playing around when it arrives and trimming the fringe etc. My clients genuinelly dont know and as i wear them out of wigs too friends dont know either ( i tend to stick to the same length and style..just different colours)

I used to have a stylist trim the fringe and cut some layers into them but i can do this myself now. The wigs i buy are around ?20  so i tend to buy several at once  ;D

xx

The best wig shop in the world (I have a wig obsession!) - in my opinion - is Paks.  There are lots of branches across London.  The one nearest me has a wide, wide, wide wall of wigs that is just massive.  Every possible hairstyle and colour, and the price range is amazing - I usually only spend between ?20 & ?30.

Maybe they're online as well?  xx Nancy

To be honest any wig even ?400 wig still looks wiggy lol.

To use lace front wigs you have to have very high hair line, to be able to glue it, or shave your hair line (which none of us want).

On black girls wigs look totally awesome and I'm totally envious of how the can change their hairstyles so dramatically and pretty effortlessly daily!!

I've yet to find a wig that actually looks normal on me (I'm blonde), I researched into lace front options and had a consultation with a guy who sells and fits those. He told me that unless I want to shave my forehead it wont work :(

I think if you want to do wigs, it may work best if you go ahead and go for obviously fake. That is, something in an outrageous colour or style that can still look awesome but nobody actually expects to be real.

I wear wigs 100% for work.
For overnights I pack a 'stunt' wig for sleeping.
It is older and more 'loved' than the daytime, glamour puss one.

I do a quick swop.

Why mess up the pristine, cute one!

Do any of you wear wigs when working?
I bought a wig a while ago but it was absolutely hideous once on, really synthetic and shiny. A cross dressing client of mine has a fabulous wig but he can't remember where he got it from and has deleted all the details, all he can remember is it was off Ebay and much cheaper than the monstrosity I got!

Can any of you recommend some that look good and stay on well, or how to secure them properly? I'm a bit concerned about the damn thing slipping off mid way through a booking.....can just imagine how awful/hilarious that would be!

I wear wigs  ;D
Mine managed to slip off when I was having sex with my ex.  ;D ;D In retrospect it might be why he never called me again ;D (just joking I told him to piss off and delete my number). Its never happened with a client thank goodness.

Wearing wigs and making them seem natural really depends on your face shape, face features, hairline and what cut you go for.

You can choose between human hair and synthetic wigs.

i) The most natural looking synthetic wigs I have found are ones with a fringe. You can get those to have a silk top/plastic which looks just like your scalp.
I would steer well away from jet black (colour 1 in most hair shops) or crazy mixes of colours in these types of wigs as they tend to look really shiny and wiggish. Dark brown (almost black, they go brown in the sun) or brunette colours look really good and you can pass them of as your own natural hair. They shed quite a lot as well.

ii) Another option is half wigs. These are hard to explain! Google/youtube them. If you have enough hair in the front of your head these are a great option and can look super natural, you can get them in synthetic form or human hair (but human hair is rare to find)

iii)Human hair wigs are the more versatile option but in all honesty they're a bit harder to find unless they're lace wigs and they tend to be a great deal more expensive!
You an again find the wig in a fringe form as they look super natural

Or you can get a lace wig or a wig made with a closure and bundles.
For closure lace wigs check out philiperichair on instagram/twitter and youtube. He makes the best wigs i've seen though he is a bit pricey and I'm sure he can work with all races/ hair types.  (I hope this won't come up when people google his name??)
Lace wigs are not really my cup of tea because as stated above it takes a lot of work to make them look natural.

I've never tried eBay for wigs in all honesty.
I don't want anything I couldn't physically see and try on to see if it suits me. Especially if you want it to look natural!
The best places to go are to afro caribbean hair stores. I know Peckham rye and Harlesden in London. (Sorry if you are not from here!). Paks as stated above is good. They have a lot of variety.
You can try amazon as well! Just check the reviews.

A good way to secure the wig to your head is:

i) The elastic band method (youtube it and be careful as the constant rubbing of the elastic band can degrade your hair line)
ii) Buy wig clips or wig combs and sew them on (just be careful because these can rip out your natural  hair!!!!)
iii) Use bobby pins to secure it (I use this:)

Sorry if this wasn't helpful! If you have more specific questions just ask away!

It would absolutely do my head in (badoom-tish!) to wear a wig, especially during sex when I'd be worried about it coming off. But if I was desperate to for whatever reason I'd probably shell out and get one made. Possibly due to being born by caesarean section, I've got a large head, and most of the 'fun' ones I've bought have been too small.

haha you and me both. Had tons of problem finding the right size fit.  ;D

That reminds me, I do find that wearing wigs that are slightly snug (not enough to give you a headache) helps it lay flatter on your head and keeps it on way better!

Also U part wigs are a option. Most natural wig type.

I wear wigs all the time. You have to tighten the strap at the back so it doesn't slip off. I got bashed for it once though as a lot of people when they hear the word wig they think its some sort of mop/carpet you have on your head hence why punters see this as a Negative. I wear natural looking ones. I even had a client lift up my hair to see if I was wearing one as another client told him i wear wigs and he couldn't figure out whether it was my real hair or not and it was so obvious as to what he was doing. Men are stupid!!!

Thanks Amy, I didn't expect so many people to wear them!

It sounds like there is a lot of trial and error involved, I'm no good at hair styling and am fed up with dying my hair, my plan is to have it cut into a very, very, very short pixie as soon as I have enough natural hair showing, then use wigs to stop me freezing to death until it's grown!

Any more advice, tips and recommendations please keep them coming.

Hi Gizzi, I recently posted as was diagnosed with AA and have a big bald patches on my head. When the patches became worse, I seeked advice from a salon but was told due to the hair I had left (very long and thick) wigs were not an option. They gave me some powder to put on my head and cover with hairspray to cover thinning and patches...(Politics999 knows what its called). I am very lucky and my natural hair covers my baldness to some degree until they ask me to get on all fours....groan.

Right, thought I'd provide on update on my wigathon - I've found something called a half wig and it's absolutely amazing!! You basically wear it from the crown so your own hair is obviously on show and it blends in with the wig. You have to get it to match your own hair colour, but I love them. So much in fact that I've 5 of them (all identical). That's because they're synthetic as opposed to human hair and didn't want to risk running out. Plus they were only ?13 each, so what a bargain.

I did try the full head wigs, but made me look tranny like as opposed to tantalizing  ;D very wig-looking they was as it seemed the top of my head was a lot bigger than it actually is and the 'parting' was just hideous

Today I cut my hair into a short bob and went and bought four wigs. I went to a lady who specialises in trimming them to get the fringes shortened. (Fringe wigs usually have very long fringes that will tickle  your nose until you trim them.)

I really like them!

I did it because I'm sick of dying my hair dark and now I can strip it and go a bit lighter and eventually grow in something more natural with highlights to blend in the grey. Also, I think I'll be more anonymous. I show my face in photos and now in "real life" I can wear my short, lighter bob with spectacles and not feel paranoid at the school gates! My oldest is now in high school and while I can't guarantee he wouldn't recognise me, at least it's unlikely his mates or parents of his classmates would.

I wear wigs on nights out often so the amount I have, it would be silly nit to use them! I do slot of roleplay and stuff and if i am wearing a wig I just tell the client prior to meeting that and to not pull my hair! It was useful for the month I went bald and sone regulars who weren't fans xxxxx

I've been growing my hair for a year too, but my hair is very fine, so bought a 3/4 hair piece and a ponytail.  I've not worn them for work yet, but when I was at a fetish event recently I wore my ponytail and had some fun with another girl.  Even though it was securely fastened in, she still managed to pull it off, which made me think that either hair pieces may not be suitable for work, especially (as I've mentioned before) if clients like to run their fingers through my hair.  Shame as I love the different looks they give me.

I've now done four bookings wearing a wig. The first one I decided that the wig wasn't working for me, but I have several wigs and I tried a different one. It worked OK but I felt uneasy and unsure.

When I had my own long hair it wasn't uncommon for a client to accidentally pin me with an elbow on my hair. So I want to avoid that happening. I am sticking to shoulder-length wigs.

The rolling around bit is the part that worries me. I feel much more constrained. I need to figure out ways to pin the thing securely to my head. Right now I have a stocking cap to keep the hair around my temples under the wig (I have a short bob that swings forward at the jawline). I think the stocking cap makes for more heat and greater slippage. I'm going to try a thin elastic hair band, instead - it's really only the bit around the ears that needs holding back.

I'm not sure how to hold the wig on, other than the elastic band inside the thing.

Fabulosity , you can buy the little clips that hold clip in hair extentions in , separately about 20p each they have holes on each end that a needle fits through and you can sew then on the forehead / front part of wig underneath and also at the sides and nape , you need about six and as you slide wig on the grip your real hair tight then do the same with sides and back , I did it when I had a few little bald spots from alopecia ....it won't budge even if someone tugged it or your in a hurricane and they can't be seen at all  ;) xx

I saw those on Amazon... I suppose I could try sewing some into my wig. I'm sure they sell them at the same place I bought the wig.

In the meantime, I'm making do with criss-crossed bobby pins.

They are better than Bobby pins x

I'm not getting on with the sewn in comb/clips. Not sure what I am doing wrong. However, two criss-crossed bobby pins at each temple seems to do the trick. I think I may try to put one clip at the nape of the neck to stop it feeling like it's riding up. But the bobby pins are sufficient to hold it on my head.

The clients don't seem to mind! I saw a regular this morning and he just thought I'd styled my hair differently.

And I'm getting used to wearing the thing. It's less itchy and hot than it was. As I grow more confident about it, I guess I just think about it less.

If this hotel had a shower with a detachable hose I'd even be comfortable keeping it on for showers between bookings. But I have to get under the shower. I didn't bring a shower cap but the thought of adding that to my head in a steamy shower isn't appealing.

Didn't know where to put this I always have 22 inch long hair extensions but last week I took them out to give my hair a break because my hair dresser advised me to do so . My hair I feel is short and hasn't got the length and fullness I like so I feel uncomfortable working with out extensions plus in my photos I have long hair so I don't want guys moaning at me so I was thinking bout buying a wig and using it for a month while my extensions are out ? I'm also worried if a wig would stay on ha I don't know what to do wasn't planning on working January but I'm going to go tour next week and just wondering what I shall do buy a wig or meet withy natural hair . I have wigs which I use for camming but there's no way one would stay on during a booking, not unless the guy just wanted massage and hand relief.

I would just take a couple of snaps on your phone and upload them to your profile. Or you could just say to people booking "In my photos I have long hair but I have had it cut recently and it's now shoulder length (or whatever), is that a problem?"

I have wigs!!! wear them sometimes!!! just have to learn how to manage with those clients that love to pull hair and run their fingers in your hair!

I found that wigs made my head itch and I couldn't get ones to look natural.
I wear the half head wigs for work and I've never had any problems. I make sure they're pinned in firmly and I don't allow clients to touch my face and head so I don't have the problem of them running their fingers through my hair. I have really fine hair so hair pieces are a godsend for me.

I've got a collection of wigs and extentions. 3/4 or half heads are really good as you can style the front of your hair and it looks real x

I stopped wearing extensions coz of their cost and wrecking my hair. I use clip in extensions and a 3/4 hair piece now. If guys ask i just tell them the hair is extensions. Clip in hair pieces I find are cheaper than extensions and you just clip them in and add instant glamour.

I've stupidly cut my hair too short and it looks dreadful. I'm going on tour and don't feel confident enough so I've bought a wig. It's a full wig and my daughter helped me cut it to the shape my hair was and the colour is a perfect match too.

It's synthetic so any care advice would be appreciated. I'm a bit worried about getting bodily fluids on it as I'm guessing water would spoil it. Also, I don't know what the life of a wig is. I'm about to embark on a 14 day tour.

I've bought another for when I get home as I'm assuming after the tour it won't be in such great shape. I do a lot of bjs and rimming so am hoping it survives.

I used to have a ponytail piece many years ago which was also synthetic but from memory I'm sure you can swish it around in shampooey water in then swish it in clear water and let dry naturally, just don't use heat on it so no tongs and it should be fine.

I wash my synthetic 3/4 wig in a tepid bowl of water which has fabric softener in, then leave to drip dry.  They say the style bounces back in but in honesty you get to wash it once then throw it away as it looks like a troll doll :)

I think it depends on the quality / make of the wig... Some will last better than others I'd imagine.
Is it possible to get a second one prepared (ie cut & styled like the other one) as a back up?

Yes, it's on order. The one I have will have to last 2 weeks though but fingers crossed it will.

I've bought wigs from Annabelles online as I loved the style. I'll be a good 6 months in wigs.

I will just clients to ' mind my wig' as am sure it's the last thing on their mind  8)

I've just done a 3hr booking in a half wig.
They're brilliant. It genuinely didn't move or come loose.
As I have really fine hair I back comb the fringe a little and wear it clipped back, like a quiff, with 2 Bobby pins crossed over adding more stability to it.
I love them.

Have some wigs I am going to throw out.

These two

1: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N498FX6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01FXQLS24/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Suitable for someone with short hair, or that wants to try being a blonde.

(Trimmed the second one an inch or two). I've thinned both out slightly to make them more realistic.

3: And I have a medium brown synthetic that goes ombre to a golden blonde. Medium length curly/wavy. Just above shoulders. This is more suitable for a girl that is advertised as Brunette, not a blonde.

Happy to post them free of charge within the UK. First in best dressed, please reply taken here and the number that you want then DM me your address info. Do not reply if you see someone else has taken it with a replied number. Do not DM me otherwise please.

You should come to my house I must have about 300+ wigs lol they have there own little room
Don't get them hot. If it's synthetic

Mine last around 6 - 8 weeks then they can start to look bitty so  I tend to put them away and use for holidays / messing aroynd in but not for work as

The main trick I find with wigs is getting ones that suit your complexion
I tend to stick with 27/30/40 as a rule or TT 1b/30 most wigs in those colours regardless of the style will suit me
This means at the roots it's a colour 4 for about 7 inches then then a 27 for 10 -12 inches then the tips are a 30 with a few long strands of 30 blended in
So it goes progressively lighter toward the ends ( if that's makes senses ) and looks really nice

I have a lady in China who makes mine for me so when I buy a wig that I like I send it to her and she makes it up for me for around 10 dollars and i buy in bulk this is great as the wigs I normally but are around ?50 This is why I have so bloody many lol
If your black / mixed race and want some good wigs i reccomend NYHairmall in the states
Or Afro styling in Manchester in the UK ( they are brilliant pretty cheap and have a few a of my favourites on there
I love Anais,  Beshe mowtown tresses Ldp shore as styles atm

I've been growing my hair for a year too, but my hair is very fine, so bought a 3/4 hair piece and a ponytail.  I've not worn them for work yet, but when I was at a fetish event recently I wore my ponytail and had some fun with another girl.  Even though it was securely fastened in, she still managed to pull it off, which made me think that either hair pieces may not be suitable for work, especially (as I've mentioned before) if clients like to run their fingers through my hair.  Shame as I love the different looks they give me.

I have been wering a clip in pony, its on a net and then has grips and a drawstring,  y the time I have tightened it, it would actually hurt for someone to manage to pull it off and I would definately be able to stop them, try the EZ human hair pony tail, but dont use the claw clip that comes with it. put your own hair in a bun and make sure you use the grips and try to push them so that they rest under your bun, then pull the drawstring as far as you can and wrap it round your pony tail (use a small but strong hair bobble for your bun )

I have to wear a wig for work to hide my identity as it would be way too easily recognised in my AW pics as it's short, undercut and I have a love of alternative colours.

I started off buying long human hair wigs on old, eBay and a few other sites.  However I was constantly disappointed by their quality and they never looked anything like the images shown online.
Another problem was the long hair got messy very easily and had to be washed at least once a week sometimes more .... (facials :-()

Anyway By chance I spotted a wig shop (a proper one aimed towards cancer and a alopecia sufferers).
All the wigs supplied by the store to my surprise were synthetic, I opted for a angled bob it was pretty pricy around ?270, but the quality is amazing!

It's a 'Rene au paris' brand, with a mono cap so the parting looks pretty natural.  I rarely wash it as it's a great length for keeping out of the way of jizz, and doesn't end up getting ruffled about from being thrown into different positions.

It's definitely not the sexiest wig, but it's classy and cute and easy to maintain so a winner in my eyes!

When clients do notice I'm wearing a wig I explain that my current hair is short and pink ... thinking that this would be an instant turn off.  But been quite surprised as all of the ones who noticed have said they love unusual hair... and the wigs ended up getting tosssd to the other side of the room

Had alopecia around 10 years ago bad lost an eyebrow and nearly all my eyelashes.

Now due I think to the mirena it is back and I'm on tour and it coming out in handfuls , I take an anti androgen drug every day ( because I have androgenic alopecia and allergic to the male , can't think of name off top of head but hormone we all have ) and my hair took 3 years to grow back .

Just found out mirena is an androgen drug , they fucking knew I'd had it before and promised it wouldn't affect  my hair anyway it's back with a vengeance , I'm working but have been really teary because I've just come back to work but have to blow dry sides and fringe between bookings and it's coming out like mad .

I have bald spots everywhere , can just about cover it ( mirena I took out).

I know there's a wig thread but if I wear one should I mention first ??

I even usually use a magic wand to style it , but have it up mainly for work , now I have one side that's maybe 5 mm long that I can barely tuck behind my ear , mega depressed and fuming with the hospital .

Problem is the more bookings I take the more I have to brush it !

Please feel free to merge if this should be in the wig thread thanks

Oh no i really feel for you and understand you must be really stressed out over it all and especially with doing bookings. I would suggest wearing a wig and i dont feel you need to tell them if its real or fake hair is hair wether stuck on or grown and dont forget many men like long hair and book for that also but a lot have hair extensions. I have known 2 woman in the past that always wore wigs one had your condition and one wanted a different look for work so she steps in that role.

Thanks EG yes I've got a human hair one from before and you couldn't tell the difference , but it's somewhere in the loft now , will get another human hair one I think and style similar to my own .

I'm just so upset that hosp / Drs couldn't give a shit and it's really knocked me happened so quick.

I bought a wig a few months ago from a similar shop to one mentioned here, not a fancy dress shop as they are certainly cheap but mostly not very convincing.

My wig cost just under ?200 and is synthetic. I was advised the real hair ones are much harder to maintain. Synthetic needs hardly any care if not worn all the time. I only use it for work and not in public. The one I really wanted had the most realistic staggered parting and was gorgeous but nearly ?400 and I could not justify spending that as I don't actually need a wig I just wanted a different look.

I wear mine for new clients who honestly don't know the difference and I swear none have guessed as it is not overly long or thick which I think would give it away.  It is very light weight and I use nice clips to push the sides back which also adds more security as the first time I wore it for a booking I was terrified it would slip or come off. It didn't of course but as long as no man attempts to pull my hair I am confident wearing it now.

I know it must be so frustrating for you and not getting the help you want and need but least with work you can put on a wig and try and forget about the patches as the client wont see and if he starts getting rough with hair like some do you can say you dont like it being touched much because your nerves on your scalp are very sensitive and you get bad headaches very easy from the hair being played with.

I get bored of my hair but punters love it n like pulling it n playing with it and looking at it. It's one of my good points. However, I've seen these hair pieces that basically just have an elastic thin band you hide in your natural hair and the extension sort of goes underneath. It looks easy n makes you hair look fuller and longer. Has anyone tried these type of extensions? If so has anyone tried a curly style one? Cos it seems to me they are mainly straight or wavy and may not look realistic in curly like the others do.

You cut it along the hairline so it lines up to yours. You can then secure lace front/full lace wigs by using got2b hair gel (yellow) one and the hair spray along your hairline and it sticks for a long day of fucking.

If your black / mixed race and want wigs

I can recommend the following on line stores in the UK Afro Styling loads of choice and most wigs are around £40
They do do some wigs for European hair but it’s mainly for Afro hair

If your buying in Bulk and know exactly what you want then I can reccomend the following on line shops
NY Hair Mall
Elevate Styles
Diva Tresses
Ebony Line
Sams Beauty

When buying from the states wigs you will pay £50-£60 in the uk can be bought for around £20
I’ve bought loads of various pieces  from these places over the years and delivery had always been quick.
Only thing Is you have to pay for shipping and then there is custom tax of anything between 30 -50 deepening on what you buy so it can push the price up

But because of the customs and postage fees from America its only worth it if you buy quite a bit of stuff at least 6-8 units
Or if your going on holiday to the states  order it to be sent to your hotel to avoid shipping and customs fees

I wear extensions at the moment. Clip ins as my hair is so thin I like to wear them as they give it more of a full look. Clip ins are starting to become impractical as proved time and time again by clients who tug at my hair despite multiple warnings that I hate it.

Do any of you wear hair extensions. Are micro rings a good option? I was told that they’re the worst for hair. But I like the idea of them as if client tugs at my hair I’m not worried half of it going to fall out Hehehehe.

I've never worn hair extensions but my friend does them for a living, and she has nano rings in her own hair (she is white). Her hair looks great and when she has had the extensions out (which is rare) her hair still looks lovely and thick, not patchy or thinned out etc.

I'm taking the plunge and wearing wigs for work - partly because it helps me separate myself from work persona but also because I can try out different styles. Does anyone else wear a wig and if so are you upfront in your ads? Or maybe they can't tell the difference? Do they stay in place? Any tips for a successful wiggy session? I have my first wig, it's a really nice wavy number but I'm not used to them. I think I need a little nudge of confidence!

No once notices. I have 20 plus.
I don't let them touch my head which isn't hard to do.
It's not something I mention in ads as it's none of their business.

I'd suggest you may need at least 2 to start with.
One for 'clean' jobs and one for messy as you may get spunk or pussy-cocky hands on it.

Amazing, thanks Salty! It opens up a whole new world doesn't it? Mine is quite long so I'll probably tie the front strands back and just not let them touch it. There are so many amazing styles I want to try :)

Edited to add, yes, I'm thinking a shorter style might be better for sessions where you may get mucky but my sessions are all the same, ie boring old school massage full personal style lol.

Yay enjoy .....I don't let them touch my face so not a stretch to tell them not to touch my hair.
Wipe spunk off with cold water and tissue as hot water will cook it on like egg white  ;D
I do boring some proper massage and full service options but I go all the way with long glam hair as they don't touch it you can go wigtastic.

The wig you really, really, love...don't wear it for work.

Black women are really into wigs and they pump out loads of youtubes. With a decent one you can glue it down and wear it for a week or even month. I tried it once and it's a lot of bother. If you have a cheaper one you can sew extra clips in.

I wore a wig for 3 months when my mum cut my hair too short for my liking.

I loved it.

I made sure it was securely attached with kirby grips and I bought a wig spray. You spray it at the end of each day and run your hands through it, to keep it in good condition.

I never advertised I was wearing one as it was the same colour and wave texture of my own hair.

Hope you fun with your new look!

PS. Men haven't got a clue about hair so I wouldn't worry about that.

When l lost most of my hair l started to wear wigs. Now my hair is growing again and l find them not as comfortable as on an almost bald head.

Any tips for glue would be appreciated.

Jada Mcdonald on Youtube has a video "The world's best wig glue". Bold Hold or Ghost Bond seem popular choices.

From memory it's a bit complicated as different brands behave differently and come in different strengths and some are more waterproof than others. Like, some wear a human hair 360 wig (that's one you can glue all around) for a up to a month. Some wear wigs for a week. If you sleep in a wig it's advised to wear a satin hair cap to prevent mucking it up.

"Hair systems" are expensive and you need to see the hairdresser once a month for maintenance. They glue on a partial or completely shaved head.

Three quarter wigs are good if you want to blend in with your natural hairline.

A sex worker friend used clip on hair extensions. I wouldn't have had a clue if she hadn't told me and I was sitting right next to her.

I honestly don’t think they give a shit. in my very early escorting days I was being bent over by a guy and he grabbed my full wig (not realising it was a wig) he looked shocked but instantly threw it to the other side of the room and carried on x

I once wore a blonde wig when I was brunette I really liked the alternative look. I was quite self conscious that it was going to slip off and reveal my dark hair . In one booking that was very energetic the whole thing had slipped off  my head leaving the wig band on I was mortified .despite me really making sure it stayed in place . I hope it never happens to anyone else . The guy gave me strange looks afterwards  :'(

I cut off all my hair so I wear wigs and have never had any problems. I wear lace front wigs and sometimes use the got2b glued spray or ghost bond glue which can be bought on amazon. I secure the back and sides of the wig with either hair grips or sew wig combs onto the wigs which grips it to your hair.

Hi ladies. Am going to venture into camming as I cannot cope with escorting anymore. Cannot work at home and cannot cope with tours.

I bought a wig in the neighbouring city but it looks really fake.

I have bought two wigs online in the past for about £50 each which were also utter crap.

Where can I buy a natural looking wig?I

I have set up a Streamate account so as I say just starting out.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Sensationnel wigs off Ebay if you can find any. They are seriously good quality for their price, or you can buy them direct but they're going to cost more. Most of their wigs are aimed at black women but you'll find some which crossover.

Thanks Tickle. I am glad I stumbled on your reply. As a fellow black female, I struggle to find decent affordable wigs for this side of work.

To be honest my skin is awfully pale and being white the wigs look too strong a shade for my complexion.

Any other suggestions from anybody for us Caucasian women?

The wigs did look good though. I am after a golden brown wig preferably in a bob style.I

Thanks in advance!

When I cammed I used 3/4 wigs.  So they clip in at the crown or a bit more forward and your own hair is visible at front and a bit of sides which hides the wig joins.  Lots iof different colours and styles.   I used the Vicky Patterson VIP brand as I found ebay ones never worked for myself. Cost was around £45 and I got 6 months before I had to replace it.

I bought a good wig from Etsy in the end. It is natural hair. Have yet to wash it though.
