I blocked one today for being the first person in sixteen months to be unable to find my building despite being pretty much across the road from it.
He had the street and postcode in the morning plus details of two landmarks which I'm smack inbetween (which narrows it down to a roughly twenty metre stretch of road in a small and largely non-residential street) and was given the building number, further directions and a description of the exterior when he called. In addition the building, like many in the area, has a prominent and obvious plaque on the outside
with the address on it .
He hung up on me twice even though I asked him to stay on the phone, and eventually started trying again roughly fifteen minutes later by which time there was eleven minutes of his booking left. If he'd got as far as finding out my flat number I'd have let him in and taken his money for that, too. He originally turned up over ten minutes early and seemed surprised that I wasn't ready, even though he chose the time when he booked
.
Fingers crossed that's it for another sixteen months
