I found a backpack in my car park on the outskirts of Edinburgh - opened it to try and find something to reunite it with its owner and to my surprise it’s very obviously a professionals bag!

I would be gutted if I lost that amount of kit so keen to reunite. Just PM me what the contents are to confirm and I’ll arrange to return it. Don’t have to meet I can leave it back where I found it for you to collect anonymously.

May sound a bit alarmist...but do you think if the owner doesn't show up....it's an idea to give it to the police in case it's evidence of some dark shanannigans? Or contact UMugs who's escort friendy police contacts may be interested? You don't know if it's been dumped for evil reasons.

It wasn’t there when I got out my car, but when I returned 10 minutes later it was, right beside a car parking space where there had been a car. The way it was sitting it’s almost like they’ve put it down to open a door and forgotten to pick it back up.

I popped a note in my stair to say I’d found a bag, no one has claimed anything. Not that I expected them to!
