I don't know about others but this hot weather doesn't get me in the mood to work much. I'm letting my phone ring instead of being earn orientated.
I've been going out enjoying not bothering but know soon I will need to motivate myself. The only way I find is just to do it without thinking, then after a few bookings am back in to the swing of it. Doubt for the rest of the day.
Do some others feel less motivated in the warm weather?. How do you get in the frame of mind again to see clients?.

I think it is not possible to be motivated all times...
Good weather, so go out, take a walk, grab something nice to eat, give yourself holiday, cause, why not?
Work can be done tomorrow or day after tomorrow :)

Good weather makes travel a lot easier for me for outcalls.

In Belfast NI it is bright and warm again today it makes a difference compared to rain lol.

I think it's only too normal to worry. Your body had to cope with long winter months. It's just a normal "recovery" process back to life. Go easy on yourself. :-*

Winter months? We have central heating, plenty of food and adequate clothing.
The site shine cheers me up it lowered the risk of muddy shoes and floods or snow messing up plans. I hate the cold and I love working when the weather is like this. I guess I'm strange!

I am fine if I have a booking but find it hard when I am sun bathing, playing tennis or out generally and the phone goes and the guy wants to book me in an hour, I am like can you not make it later:)

Nope, I also prefer summer work-wise. Might be outcall people thing ;D. I get pretty bad SAD in the winter (go figure that I'd move to a northern country, ugh), and that absolutely kills my motivation.

I live in the midlands and today is a rare afternoon I could actually sit out for half an hour and properly relax.
Don't think I have done that for a year!
We did have some nice weather one month this year I just can't remember when lol. It is so rare!

It has been mostly winter months so far this year, there was some nice weather around towards the end of March when the temperature got up to low 20s for the south, and mid to high teens in the north. It was the warmest day in March for 5 years.

The main thing that demotivates me are the really quite periods. When I have a dead day and suddenly a booking appears later on, I just cant motivate myself to do it. x

Some times when this happens I kinda have a little moan to myself then just get ready for them. Well I do when they arrive so not too much hassle. Like today I was so tired after personal training for a few days straight. Made excuses to decline a booking. Had to have a little nap for a few hours.
A few are lined up for later if they come they come no fuss to me. As need to catch up on house work after a few days spending bender. Then regretting it. So back to living within my means.
My legs are aching today, a great combination so no on top today lol.

Perhaps we should visualise the money being five times higher than the amount it is to make us leap into action. That should get me out of the lethargy phases.

It sure gets you motivated visulizing figures increasing and have found it help a little. Maybe a coincidence like they say every little bit helps. I must get back to doing it daily though. :)

I used to live in the South. I only found what cold months really meant after moving to the North. My GP told me her patients suffered a lot as winter this year has been so severe up in the North. She's a Northern lass.

You ought to move East, SM. Whilst it's never really hot here outside about two days a year, we've barely even noticed winter and I think I've only had to get my proper winter coat out twice - a couple of years ago I remember I wore it every day for about four months. It's snowed maybe three times and not settled more than an hour or two.
My flat stays nice and cool anyway so heat doesn't put me off working - I'm more likely to skive if I wake up to it blowing a gale or lashing down with rain, because it stops me wanting to go out. Plus if my flat gets cold I get fed up and wind up coming home early.

I really feel the cold (enough to have my thyroid function tested) this winter has been fairly easy, mildish and not too much rain.

A friend f mind broke her wrist by beng blown away by the wind, literally. :-\ I do dislike the hot weather, either. So I can't complain. Gotta work harder to cover my heating bills for the next winter. ;D

I don't like any extremes of temperature. To be honest last summer we had a very warm spell despite the location and I found it tiring after a while. A nice moderate weather suits me the best with just some sunshine but not overbearing. The heat upsets my menopausal symptoms and the cold makes me depressed. Such is life!

Yes there we a weekend in the NE when winds were dangerously strong, I was over there at the time. It was only for a few days.
Do you not remember the floods of 2015, or very deep winters of 2009 & 2010 which involved heavy prolonged snow and regular sub zero temperatures (-10 across the North.) during which the road recovery services were overwhelmed. The weather made the news and affected much of the country. It wasn't a secret to most.
To make this sex work related, the snowy winter caused some havoc, clients were often late because of the snow however many still made it regardless. The floods were also very scary but it didn't destroy my business. What I did notice were the men who were stuck whereever who then suddenly wanted an outcall. You see they didn't or weren't able to go out, so it was obvious to them that they should get me to visit them.
Err no, and some didn't see why not.
Anyhow worst that happened was the cold weather in 2010 killed my car battery overnight, so I had to cancel an outcall. At the time I also worked incall he was very keen to see me, but not keen enough to change to an incall. Some clients are like that - just as many would never arrange outcall, some would never visit incall. They tell me they just don't like the idea of visiting a 'house of ill repute'. Anyhow the outcall man had to wait until my car was fixed a few days later. At the time the AA weren't able to visit anyone who was at or near home, they had to prioritise those out on the road liable to freeze at any minute.

It sounds mildly insulting to call it "a house of ill repute" when they are speaking to an escort. :-\
I also think where I am is probably not the best, it feels much colder indoors. I had a central heating on yesterday. xx

You are not alone, the type of property I've lived most of my life requires heating on all year around.
House of ill repute is my phrase, they more or less didn't like visiting somewhere I saw other clients. Could have been fear of being seen, or just knowledge other men visited for sex, that they felt somehow dirty. I didn't worry about if, I knew my property was kept to a high standard etc. It's just individual preferences which I respected.

yes I'm the same, plus PVC or even suzzies are bloody boiling if theres no aircon ...enjoy the sun its bound to change soon that's what I'm doing lol

Hi Girls!
I'm a newbie here and this is my first post. 🙈😊 I live in Spain and here it is different. The sun is now out and the clients are all on the beach! It's a tricky situation being in a summer tourist destination. Most of them spend their money somewhere else anyway like food and drinks so theres nothing left for a different sort of fun time. Wish I could just be in a city like London where everyday the phone rings. Sending you all lots of being and sunny vibes from the Mediterranean though! Xxx

Well rain or shine I definitely HAVE to work right now thanks to a new car clutch needed, a toilet leak and a roof repair.
Anyway we don't get much decent weather up norf so it barely applies to us as a rule!

There is no Summer in the North West. My radiator was on yesterday. I have not seen the sun since weeks.Having said that I went to London a few times, it was all dark and rain.
