Good website for bulk buying condoms
« on: 09 June 2014, 04:52:48 pm »

hi all,

im not sure where to post this....

Just came across a website linked to the NHS that seems to be reasonably priced for bulk condom buying!
http://www.freedoms-shop.nhs.uk/shop looks like you can pay via paypal too!

Anyone else have any good places?

I often use http://www. mycondom.co.uk/

For ladies in the Glasgow area as well... there are many pharmacies that dispense those NHS packs of condoms and lube - http://www.freecondomsglasgowandclyde.org/ and if they have enough in stock it's usually possible to stock up.  If you're not in this area, it may be worth checking out your local clinics website to see if they have something similar.

The NHS website is the only one for me......due to the fact I'm latex intolerant and the latex free condoms they give out from the GUM clinic where I am are beyond awful and rub me raw! (I complained about this)

When I say rubbed raw I mean really rubbed raw - this was the Passante latex free condoms which inexplicetly have a reinforced ring at the end, I defy anyone to use them more than once.

What she said, although I've never taken the free condoms from the clinic so I don't know what they're like.

I think the Freedoms shop is among the links on the main site and it's certainly been mentioned plenty of times on here, but again never hurts :).

I buy mine from the freedoms online store also. Very helpful staff and prices aren't bad at all :)

I'm too scared to buy from ebay as even though they may say they're genuine and not fakes I'm not convinced and would choose an nhs site over a potentially dodgy man in china or in the uk any day. No offense to those who do, if you know what you're looking for with regards to genuine products etc.

I'm too scared to use ebay in case of getting counterfeit condoms so I use freedoms website, can't get massive packs of durex sadly but there's mates skyn in 144 condom packs at a massive discount.
and I trust the nhs to sell condoms which haven't been left in sunlight/damaged/counterfeit

The sexual health clinic gave me a pack of pasante condoms today, some ribs & dots, mint tingle and blueberry flavoured ones.. Mint tingle sounds interesting ;D

For people that buy online from the Freedoms shop, how are the condoms packaged? In a box? With no labelling on the envelop other than your address?

When I used to buy from ebay, they'd just be loose in a plastic envelope, so you could work out what was inside the envelope if you felt it.
I live in a new place with housemates so don't want to risk them figuring out I've bulk bought hundreds of condoms.

I buy Skyns by the 144 so mine turn up boxed as they would be at a clinic (including little paper bags) and packed in one of those thick grey plastic sacks with the tamper proof seal. The labels are very plain.

I've had smaller orders turn up in thick brown Jiffy bags with the plastic bag or smaller box of them inside too - you'd have to squish it about pretty intensively to figure out what was in it IMO (and most people wouldn't recognise the size and shape of a '144 condom' box even if we mostly would :)).
