Feeling i cant compete with the pre-schoolers
« on: 19 August 2009, 08:40:08 am »
Apologies in advance for the self pitying style of my post but I'm feeling a bit down today and i would like to hear other ladies and gents views on this topic.

Basically i do a lot of my work through an agency up in Newcastle (as many of you know, lord knows i bang on about it often enough ;)) I work usually incall with 2 girls in the flat (illegal i know before anyone says but its the only way i can get to work in calls at the moment)

The agency is a big one (over 30 girls) and the trouble is I'm just not getting the volume of work i feel i should be and its really knocking my self confidence. Even the agency owner is baffled as to why,my pics are really nice and i have lots of feedback which is superb (her words not mine). The thing with this agency is that it has lots of young girls in the 18 to 23 age range and they seem to be the girls all the men want to book. I state my age as 27 (I'm actually 30 but have been told i look no where near it so why not tell a few fibs? ;D) For example i sat in flat for 6 hours yesterday and only got a single 30 minute booking out of it. Then the other girl working came in for her shift and already had 4 and a half hours worth of work booked in. Now I'm going to sound a horrible person for saying this but this girl is not especially attractive or well presented yet shes only 19 so everyone wants to see her for that reason alone apparently.

Sorry for the rant but I'm just feeling really upset about it. I'm attractive (and modest ;D) always well presented (nice dresses, stockings, heels etc, i work out to  keep myself in shape and I'm able to actually hold a conversation. Despite all this though i cant get the volume of work that a load of teenagers turning up in their jeans stinking of smoke can!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just don't seem to be able to find a place for myself and its knocking my confidence terribly. Do all men just want young girls or is it just the men in the north east who are dirty pervs?

I'm not sure, but maybe because your agency has so many young girls on the books, it attract clients that want young girls. Gentlemen that prefer a wg that is a bit older will probably go look elsewhere. Are there more reliable agencies that could provide an incall place? Maybe you should consider changing.

Ah, sounds like that place is attracting all of the guys who like babies (wait, Im only 22   :P

I would suggest either creating a new character similar to how majority of the agency girls are or leaving the agency all together. Reason being is because if you match to how the others are, you wont stand out so much...as you may be too perfect for these guys going to an agency who sells mostly ameteurs. You wouldnt be conforming, as you could always be unique during the booking. And if thats not possible, I'd leave because of who they are marketing.

I've been thinking about this, are you sure the other girls actually get that amount of work? Because if your only source is them, they might just be lying about it.

Secondly the agency website has a cheap feel to it (I looked it up), and you look classy, even more so compared to the other girls. This might turn of the men who come there looking for a young girl.

Thirdly have you considered becoming a blonde? There are an awful lot of brunettes on there.

Yep i know what volume of work each girl is getting because a good friend of mine is now answering the phone for the agency and shes passing all the information over to me. So I'm now getting to know first hand who is getting the most work and is most popular.
Yes the website has a cheap feel to it,couldn't agree more with you on that score! I have a sinkingly depressing feeling that my appearance is turning off the guys who are looking for a naive young girl who they can probably trick into performing services they aren't happy with just because they haven't got the confidence to say no (I'm possibly generalising here but I'm in a bad mood >:()
On the plus side i get a decent amount of private clients (i see them in agencies flat and have to pay them for the privilege per booking ) so that bumps my earnings up. I just get sick of constantly updating myself on viviastreet,aw etc and these other girls swan in and make loads of money without having to be proactive about it.
Your right about all the brunettes,i had actually not noticed it until you pointed it out! i don't think i could go blonde though,i really like myself as a brunette and cannot even imagine what i would look like with blonde hair.

Joey- if i could change to another agency i would but theres such a dearth of decent agencies up in Newcastle its a real case of dammed if you do and dammed if you don't. As for recreating my age its a nice idea but you could guarantee i would have some tactless client telling me within a week that i look older than I'm saying i am.

If you have no alternative but to work from there then I advise absolutely going to BLOODY town on your advertising for private clients!!If you dont already have a website of your own then I would get one. Scour the internet for free advertising and get posting on the forums to get yourself known(It also helps your google rankings everytime you post.)
At the end of the day its a lot of work being an indie but for an attractive woman of 27 it will pay off. If all else fails put an ad in The Daily Sport. ;)
find out exactly how and why a man hoping to escort women for a living has more chance of plaiting fog, and better earning prospects on Jobseekers Allowance.

Ok, I too have had a look at the site, and it does seem to have a  homogenized feel to the whole thing, and what is killing you is the fact that based on  how all the photos looks slightly similar, the men are using the numbers to make a decision, and this is working against you. You NEED a website, I built my latest one on www.wix.com in an afternoon.
www.violette-escort.com all for free. Ok so you have to put up with advertising, but for now it won't kill you.
Don't lose heart, you will get your clients, just accentuate your uniqueness, you have a delightful French name, go with the play coquette theme, lots of lips and  lingerie shots, on location.

Yes the pictures are all very similar and its actually quite unfair because the photographer has photoshopped all the girls so much that girls who have lumps and bumps all over in real life have perfect hourglass figures in the pictures. That probably sounds like a really bitchy thing to say but i work hard to keep a nice figure and i think its unfair that my hard work isint working to my advantage on the website >:(
I had that last photoshoot (the disastrous one that i talked about in another thread) in the hope that i would get some nice pics i could use on the website but it didn't work out that way. I'm feeling everything is a bit against me at the minute.
I have a website that i built on moonfruit, its http://www.kittylamour.moonfruit.com/ ,I'm just not sure what to do with it now Ive got it. Ive got a link to it on my AW profile but that's about it at the minute.

I enjoy roleplay but only if it is a scenario that i am comfortable with.

I dont do uniforms as such, dressing up in a scratchy Ann Summers ensemble is not my idea of seduction! I do however have lots of very sexy lingerie, stockings, suspenders and high heels and i love to show myself off in them.

Things i definately dont participate in are A levels, cim or anything involving pain, humiliation or the emergency services needing to be called.

LOL...I psml with that one, lumps and bumps  ;D  those arent curves honey, those are lumps and bumps.

Anyway, Colette your photos are cute, I like! But I just wanted to pull some copy off your website if you dont mind (if you do I can go back and edit it).

In 3 of the sentences you say what you wont do. Say what you WILL or like to do. Its good to have boundaries, but thats when they ask you. Saying 1 thing of what you like to do is better than saying 3 things that you dont like.

You could be right Joey,i never looked at the text that way but you possibly have a point there. I dashed it off in a few hours so it could probably do with a bit of revising.
But if i put down the things i do enjoy it would be a short list indeed (only kidding-honest ;))

Glad you like the pictures,i would have some nice new ones if it wasent for that dammed photographer (but thats another story)

they werent as bad as I thought. But yeah, even if its a short-list of do's is better than a long list of don'ts. Then again, sometimes you just have to escape the demographics as sometimes theres reasons out of your control.

They are my old pics Joey, the new ones arent fit for human consumption in their current state! The ones i have on at moment were mostly taken by my usual photographer who does actually know how to hold a camera the right way round unlike that pillock from last month >:(
