Title: Favourite toiletries for clients
Post by: green_eyed_goddess on 18 October 2018, 05:52:07 pm
This seems such a silly question. Ideally I would use lush stuff, but I strongly suspect that a lot of clients would find it too girly, even the stuff that's aimed at men, but at the same time I don't want to use anything that's making me think "Oh goddess, what are you wearing."

I can't even walk past a Lush shop without wanting to either vomit or have an asthma attack, so I'd agree there.

I buy Simple fragrance free shower gel - it's easy to find and won't cause anybody problems. If anybody wants to use my cheapo Superdrug stuff they can go ahead too - it's well worth hiding anything you don't want them touching (as I learned years ago after it transpired that one had washed his cock with my Clinique)  >:(.

There is a Lush store near me and at Xmas time it is packed to the door with people buying ovepriced gifts. I do not know how the staff in there are not all fainting or begging for oxygen masks. The colours are nice but that is about it.

If I put even a sprinkle of anything from there into my bath water I would be itching forever more.

The last thing a client wants is to leave smelling of anything perfumed let alone the pungent pong of Lush products. I only use unperfumed soap and shower/bath stuff so that is what the clients use too. They are welcome to bring their own and some do. I currently have a little stock of soaps/deodorants and shower gels left by men who insisted they had everything that belonged to them when they left.

I put out for them:
Supermarket mouthwash, unless Listerine or Colgate have had an offer on in Wilkos
Right Guard 48 hour anti-perspirant (I buy it on offer when it's £1 for a small can and stock up)
I have a stock of individual hotel soaps so I put one of those out if the hotel I'm at doesn't supply them (e.g. Ibis, Premier Inn, Campanile because some clients don't notice the dispenser on the wall)
In the shower I put a shower gel that I've bought on offer, usually Imperial Leather or Radox in a gender neutral scent such as "feel uplifted" or "revitalising" - I find these smells don't linger once out of the shower.

After some ridiculous experiences like Amy's (one client decided to shower using my Vagisil, despite there being a huge bottle of shower gel next to it, and another tosser used my expensive Alberto Balsam shampoo) I put anything I don't want used either out of sight or well over to the other side of the room and specifically tell them There's shower gel on the side of the bath for you, use as much as you like you stinky fucker

I wish Febreeze did toiletries lol.

Pound shop, I bulk buy good brand mouth wash. Shower gels and deodorants I go to Wilkos and get designer brand and normal everyday brand.  Always have Dove hand wash never soap.  Plastic shot glasses from pound shop for mouthwash.

I always put 2 options out for clients.

Oh God I never put any of my things in the bathroom at all, I have a toiletry travel bag with lots of compartments for all my make up, perfumes, toiletries etc and I use it at home too so I never forget anything when I travel. I keep it in the room, never the bathroom.

I put unscented shower gel, cheap branded mouthwash and again cheap branded anti perspirants. I draw the line at obvious 'value' brands but seriously I'm not sure they give a fuck anyway. Usually the wall pumps are fine, neutral scents and I point them out to the slow of thinking, of which there are many.  :FF :FF :FF

I was going to put all my make up, skin care and non shower toiletries in the lounge anyway because that's going to be my space and a pretty major boundary, but thanks for the tip

If I am in a Hotel that does not supply shower gel on the wall, I hand the client £1 radox male shower gel together with their small towle.

There's no way I would ever shell out on good stuff for clients lol.

I just get Superdrug's own brand shower gel for them, Right Guard antiperspirant and whatever mouthwash is on offer that I will use myself too. If I ever stay at a hotel I always nab as much free toiletries as I can and use them here. Anything I don't want them touching is stowed away in a basket in the cupboard under the sink, as they will use whatever is out. I have had a couple of guys ignore the shower gel and go for the handwash instead  ??? no idea why, unless they can't see the bottle that's clearly right in front of them.

I always have for clients sanex shower gel, original source shower gel, Molton brown bubble bath, Molton brown shower gel and body spray aswell as both lynx body spray and right guard anti perspirant and a roll on. I also brought a bottle of creed aftershave as it’s my favorite and I always encourage them to put it on. I also supply e45 body lotion Incase anybody has skin conditions aswell as cocoa butter. I also have hair gel, beard oil and wash, spare hotel slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, listerine mouthwash and I always offer them femfresh to wash their bits. I find if I am always well prepared then there is something for everyone. I’ve actually found men always prefer women’s toiletries however so I put my expensive ones away and they end up using half a bottle of
Unicorn marshmallow foamy bodywash  ;D my clients always expect good toiletries and I’ve found a lot of them love to share a bath together with lovely smells and candles lit and put on slippers and robes afterwards and snuggle.

Not Lush, definitely!

I always keep some Sanex Zero in, one man's sensitive skin bodywash (e.g. Nivea), and then one refreshing/bracing one (Body Shop birch is nice, and the bottle looks expensive). Carex and Simple also good.

I don't think they've ever been used, but I also leave out Head & Shoulders and Alpecin shampoos and a fairly neutral man's spray deodorant.

I have a mix of different things. Original source, the lynx ones I like the smell of, a couple of different unscented body washes, and a couple of bars from lush. Plus the odd small ones I've grabbed from hotels over the years.

Also, two different mouthwashes, 3 different toothpastes, various toothbrushes, a few different disposable razors, and a few different moisturisers.

The only thing I don't offer a selection on is hair stuff, no reason they should be washing their hair, so don't bitch about my shampoo and conditioner.

But honestly, I'm going overboard, grab something unscented, and if you like something else, leave it out as an option. Just be prepared to wash it after visits, stray hairs won't go down well.

I get a giant bottle of something cheap but fancy looking from TK Maxx with a neutral scent. a £10-£15 bottle will last for ages!

I wouldn’t get them Lush products!

I buy branded mouthwash and showrgel for them but whatever is on offer in home bargains lol.

Unscented products are probably your best bet as it is more discreet for the client.

I usually go to Wilko's for toiletries. For myself I always use the same specific brands/scents whilst I'm working (as scents really remind me of different times/environments). This tends to be something cheap but decent such as Dove or Radox as I tend to have multiple showers a day so I'm not about to use my fancy stuff. For the gents I do specifically use men's scented shower gel so they don't leave smelling all girly. This is usually a Nivea men's one also from Wilko's. I have noticed men reaching for my own shower gel although there's a men's one with blatant big writing specifying it's for MEN but whatever floats their boat. I use STRONG Listerine mouthwash as I do offer DFK and want to make sure their whole mouth is burning with Listerine before I even go near them lol. I have also purchased a big bulk of disposable toothbrushes from eBay, all individually wrapped. I encourage using these too.
When I'm off work I use my own favourite stuff which doesn't link in with work. I know it's strange but I get reminiscent feelings when smelling things so on my days off I really want to switch off rather than be reminded of work.

Cheap with very little scent!

I have never bothered with deodorant or anything else other than shower gel though. I have mouthwash if they ask and will give them a glass.
As an aside, my other half once used my client shower gel and once we got snuggled up he just smelled of client to me so had to send him off for another shower because I was weired out!

I have a choice of about 30 shower gels when at home. I put on my ad that I am likely to have a shower gel that matches what they have at home. From lynx to simple to teatree and mint. I have the lot.

I use men’s Nivea shower gel. Usually the two in one variety with gel and shampoo combined.

I used to go all out and buy loads of different ones but once had a twat who couldn’t cum but I guess in his twisted revenge took a very lengthy shower and opened each of my shower gels and used several at the same time.

I don’t leave them all in the bathroom lol. Ask what they want before they go in. Don’t leave your toothbrush in bathroom either in case they use it to clean your toilet seat.

I leave Simple shower gel as the hotel 1 is usually not the best and a lot of men prefer unscented. I always leave Listerine mouthwash and a clean glass. Also mens deodorant. Usually Lynx.

I agree with almost everything.

Shower gel without odor, a spray and deodorant.

Personally I always have listerine in my bathroom both a bottle for them and a bottle for me.

According to the zone, I increase my prices up to 170h. Then, at this price, I always use listerine and gel marks a little more expensive, but, they still have no smell.

It is a difference of a few pounds, but the customer notices it.

As well as mouthwash, handwash at the basin and when I remember, body spray in a generic male scent, in the shower I have a scentless (or ish) gel, a 'dude' shower gel like some kind of 'sea breeze' crap and...my LUSH shower gels. And I have to say the dudes seem to plump for the lush more than anything else. The amount of times they've come out smelling of the stuff is almost funny.

not lush for them, snow fairy is for me lol! the tingly original source peppermint gel goes down well with guys, aldi do a good own version too, or that radox sea salt hair and body gel for men.

Unscented shower gel, as a lot of my clients are married, so don't want to smell different when they get home. For the same reason I don't provide deodorants. Guys who know they will need a shower tend to bring their own brand with them.

A tip:

Re-fill fancy bottles (like you can get at TK Maxx) with the cheapest stuff from Asda or Tesco. The cheaper shower gels have less perfume than brand name stuff like Radox - I find Radox too strongly scented, myself. However, I like their bottles because they have the hanging hook. So I refill a Radox bottle with something cheaper.

The rare times I have done incalls in hotels I take bog standard mouthwash and some moisturising shower gel. If they want deodorant they can bring it with them.
I wouldn't give them anything expensive to use. And I really wouldn't use anything like lush, you don't know their personal lives and trying to explain why they stink of lush would be very, very awkward. Plus it could lose you a potential regular. Discretion is a two-way thing in this business.

Seriously though the amount of times married clients have opted for smelly shower gel over the unscented stuff in my experience...in fact some of the only very anxious ones on this front are guys who’ve been caught out before (their own admission) and have wives that ‘sniff them out’.
I sometimes think to hide the more expensive toiletries but that’s more to save them for me, though I would never actively jeapordize a clients discretion I don’t see that their personal life is my responsibility either. I did manage to notice and pull some white blonde curly hair from a guys shirt once as he was about to leave but god knows how many tines shit like that escapes his and my notice. I also don’t really know how lingering wash scents really are, I’m always cussing how little toiletry smells stick around but maybe I’ve not got a sensitive nose.

Normally we become nose blind at our own smell (hence some people convinced they don't smell when they haven't showered for a few days). But the radox touch ones really do last until you wash off. I've walked out of a club at 6 am, having showered the evening before around 7, and I can still get a feint whiff.(Hence I love testers before I spend £30+ on a bottle of perfume lol)

Yeah probably that’s true. I did work out that an ex cheated on me in a brothel because he came home smelling of baby oil. That shit is pungent, but the I knew that brothels use it a lot. I stayed with him a while after that but I became hyper aware of these things which I really hadn’t been before. Which is why some dudes are very lax, if they’re wife doesn’t suspect them already she’s less likely to notice. Still as long as low scented shower gel or soap is on offer, it’s up to them to decide.
