Gang who robbed escorts

In a 7 month spree jailed....

There is a video when they were in the apartment accompanying this article if you google it.

One of the ladies gave a statement of the effect it had on her and the police also reassured sex workers that they take this seriously.

Absolutely Mirror....
The 4 got between 10 and 14 years in jail that is a great result though it does not take away the psychological trauma these ladies have to live with.

This one was not reported here on saafe there was quite a few reported on here last year. I know one of the cases reported on here that robbed women in Surrey/Hampshire/london have been found guilty and sentencing will happen very soon.

My thanks goes out to those women that reported them and got them off the streets so those particular ones cannot hurt anybody else.

Another case that sends a great message that police and judges take these attacks against us very serious.

Just watched the video and read the news story. 
Full credit and sincere thanks both to the brave ladies who reported them (and subsequently saw through the task of actually testifying in court) and to the police for their investigation.
Oh, and...may the 4 fuckers in the gang ROT TO DEATH in prison!

What a horrendous ordeal to have gone through.
Honestly, I will breathe the biggest sigh of relief when I eventually am able to leave this profession.
I see some lovely clients but the stress and anxiety of every new booking, and the guard I have up during every single booking, is exhausting. I’ll be glad to not have to deal with that eventually!

Absolutely other jobs can be just as risky, of course being outed isn't usually a concern though. Other professions don't have the same ability we have to share warnings, look up potential clients because that's contra to the actual profession.

Other jobs can for some reasons feel quite unsafe.

I agree MWM, It was horrendous. Your waiting for one of this men who has booked you in your slinky little dress and heels totally off guard, your are vulnerable and he comes bringing terror. Some ladies haven’t reported this to the police  and there are myriad of reasons but they too live with this trauma.

Yes this can happen in any job, my sister got robbed at gun point whilst working in a shop, she was able to talk about the traumatic event with everyone and get support, sadly when things happen while doing sex work that's not always possible.
