Sitting in my flat, wearing the dress, the heels and the suspenders (which were a request- not wearing them in this heat for fun!), and the damn client is reaaaallly late  :FF
I feel icky.  >:(

And I rushed around to get ready quick as well. lol. such is life!  :-\

The heat is killing me! Been flat-out as I'm only working 3 days a week and off the whole of August. I have a ceiling fan and two high-velocity ones. But still can't wear make-up!

Hopefully should be cooler tomorrow... At least I hope so as got a 2hr booking in the morning :(

I am incredibly busy at the moment and do a few things to keep from getting miserable and feeling melty in this heat.  I've been washing and straightening my hair the night before so I don't have to rush with a hot hair dryer the next day.  So nice just to jump in the shower and saves faffing about with my very long hair.  sleeping in wet plaits is great for having a sexy crimped style the next day too.  Just undo your plaits and no hot hair dryer or rushing required!

I have a fan too.  It's a god send.  I like to put ice in drinks for the cliet and I.  Lots of fun to play with in the room and keeps you cool.  I've also told clients that stockings are out in this heat lol.  Means shaving my legs the night before but has to be done!

Keep hydrated all day long.  Otherwise you get groggy and the last thing you want to do is take is a booking.  It's so tempting to turn your phone off for a couple of hours and take a nap.

Celling fans are not very good they just push the hot air from the celling down into the room.

You can make a makeshift air conditioner, put a bowl of ice in front of your fan so it is blowing chilled air in your direction.

Oh no....

It's like as don't want to wear pvc in this heat so much. The more the requests are coming in for it. I nearly cancelled a booking this morning but didn't as all could see was me sweating melting. Winter is very much preferred bring on rain any day. I find it so relaxing and workable.  :)

This is a good fan to use. I just have it outside my bedroom door as it is so powerful with a slight noise. It cools down quickly, yesterday a client was standing in front of it.
