Celeste, I agree with Thickthighs, about pre ordering the taxi.

I get the client to prepay both legs of the trip, he books it in my 'name' with my phone number as the sole contact. He must read me the two booking numbers. So I'm in control and can summon the cab earlier or later to suit me. I double check all my requests are met with the cab company before I leave.

Once he's done the booking he's got no involvement in my transport.
