Hello

I am not trying to get this thread locked, but I must say this. I have travelled extensively in the US. I have friends in Jacksonville, Miami, Ohio and New York. I would be willing to bet money that most of the ladies on this board have travelled! I have several MALE gay friends, they work in San Francisco, New York and California. Instead of arguing, floundering and generally not being happy, just move. It seems to me you are not happy in Texas.

Damn right, thats what I want to do. Get the FUCK out this fucking place. There's no reason to be here otherwise....Its just getting out this god damned lease and having put up with enough cheap bullshit to pack it up and leave. What have I got to lose?

NOTHING

Joey, you mentioned that you knew a young black guy a few years ago who escorted in Miami and NYC and he was well off, but you aren't because you tell us regularly that you don't have the money you need to really live. I know you've spoken a lot about geographical location, but wern't you once in Florida, and could you in any way use his business model to improve yours?

Also, I don't know if this has been mentioned before (apologies if so) but have you thought of adding being a Personal Trainer  to your massage and escorting business? You may have to pay to train, but fitness is already something you're passionate about, so would be able to inspire your clients to feel the same. It may be another fruitful string to your bow?

Im not trying to create an argument. Im just responding. Please do not feel offended, and thankyou Anika for allowing us to discuss this topic...

I didn't leave it open so you could keep arguing about whether Cassie's personal history qualifies her to add her bit ::). Stop bickering (or do it in private if you must). Joey, if you don't think a suggestion is good you don't need to aggressively explain what's wrong with it. If you manage to avoid that it's going to be easier to avoid these pointless arguments about your personality. Everyone else, leave Joey's personality out of it. If you don't think he's going to listen anyway, just move on.

I'm not locking it right now because Ella's post is pretty good, so maybe this thread hasn't exhausted any possible value.

Joey, Can you not try to stay put for awhile and maybe rethink your advertising. Look at everyone elses adds to get ideas and maybe add a little something special that others do not do so that you stand out. (Dont ask me what as I have no idea).

You say you have moved alot and doing so again could be to your detriment. I can take quite awhile to build a regular client base. It has took me a year to get enough to keep me going happily along with a full image change.

I know you are struggling but in this economy so are quite alot of other people and you need to take this into consideration.
Moving again may well only serve to leave you in a worse monetary state than you are in now with no guarantees of more work.
Escorting is fickle. It is not guaranteed wages which is why I always have another job as well. Even if you did a few hours a week in a bar it would be better than nothing.
No it is not ideal but even I have had to do it. I did think to start with it was beneath me as I am far too over qualified for bar work BUT needs must and I need that little bit of regular money each week that I can count on no matter what.
Truth is far more important than what one wants to hear. With truth there is no us and them or colour or religion there is just fact

That's a great idea!
