Ditto Violette!!!!

Why is it that the mean ones get all nasty towards us when we want to set boundaries.  They start to throw their toys out of the pram and attack us verbally.

Good Colette - just ignore him but be prepared that you might hear from him again  - what a d...head.

You have a lovely bf and that's the only man in your life that you devote your personal time to.

Hey!

I missed the action this evening, but excellent decision to get rid of Mr. Nobhead Of The Week (MNOTW). His "you've changed" text was a last ditch attempt to have a dig because he can't get at you in any other way now you won't see him. Well good, make sure you snuggle up to your lovely fiance extra tight this evening whilst  MNOTW snuggles up to his cold, unresponsive pillow- see how many power games he can play over his pillow over the next few weeks!

My obsessive texter/controller/general life manipulator who I wrote about on here a while ago sent me a message at about 3am a few weeks ago, after no contact for about a month, saying he missed me and needed to tell me this is how he felt because he was lost without me. I felt guilty when I read it and was writing a reply to say sorry..... and then I gave myself a SLAP and remembered how I owe him NOTHING, and how miserable he made me and how much I used to dread his manipulative suffocating visits and constant texting trying to arrange the next appointment:

Him: Are u free tomorrow?.... or the next day? Or any day this week? Or next week? Any day at all? I can do any day. Even for for half an hour? Tomorrow would be good.

And now I feel free as a bird and he has to live with having scared away another person in his life for being a controlling intensive and power hungry FREAK.

Do let us now what text messages you receive from MNOTW over the next few weeks after he realises his pillow isn't as much fun to manipulate as a woman.

We are now entering a parallel universe

I dont know whether Im glad to be a guy, or glad to deal with bi/gay clients, or what?!

I've only had one obsessive client, and even then I had my space throughout the week. The thing with you all in Europe is I guess its seen as more acceptable and so clients dont feel so bad afterwards. I think Violette mentioned that before.

Over here? Once the deed is done they will be gone quicker than I am...But, Im glad you got him off your back. You'd be surprised how men react when you say something really mean and truthful to them, then you never hear from them again. Happens with me all the time.

Thanks girls and guys for all the supportive comments,it fair warms the cockles of my heart ;D

Well i had another text from Mr MNOTW (great turn of phrase Carla, maybye we could have an award for annoying clients nominated by their long suffering lady providers? a ruder version of employee of the month) sent at stupid 0 clock in the morning to my PRIVATE mobile  (my private number that he had conned out of me when i was a green newbie and which i had asked him to NEVER contact me on and he had allegedly deleted from his phonebook.
Text said had i forgotton all the times i used to ring him for chats when i was working for a previous agency and sitting in the bar next door to the flat whilst other girls had bookings in? or did i not want to remember that because i wanted to keep it i secret from someone? (implication there being that i did not want my fiance to know about our 'in depth' chats and hadn't been telling him about it,it always clearly bugged him that i have a partner who i love, who knows what i do and who i am totally upfront with)

These alleged 'chats' incidentally never took place,i spoke to him once in that context after sending him a text that was related to payment for an overnight booking and he immediately rang my phone. I only answered because i had nobody else to talk to and was bored out of my mind.
The text ended with him saying he was now deleting both my numbers  and goodbye(hm mm,ya said that last night as well mate)
Will keep you updated with the next thrilling installment.

Well done by the way Carla for not texting your own particular charmer back, you definitely did the right thing!
And Violette your 'choice' language absolutely cracked me up,you couldn't have hit the nail on the head any better

It was the wine talking. 8) But, seriously the texts will get better, by Sunday night he will be calling you some choice names. Just keep ignoring him. But also keep an eye, in the event they start to get threatening. Then that is another story, and should be dealt with seriously. He doesn't know where you live?

Yep im anticipating my next text already, probably at about 3am tomorrow morning.

No he has no idea where i live,he knows the city and that about it. I even lied about the area i live in just to be on the safe side (not that i dont trust clients as far as i can throw them or anything like that of course ;D)

How much you wanna bet that won't be the last you hear from him?

Why dont you just have your boyfriend call him up and curse him out? I did that before and it works very well.

No cos then he will have gotton a reaction not just out of me but out of my boyfriend as well which would make his day!

I honestly believe that silence is the best line of defence for this situation. If he sees that i care that little that i dont even consider his texts worth a reply i know it will drive him absolutely crazy.

Have to say i feel a lot better knowing i dont have to do my booking with him on Saturday now which i think just goes to show how much i was subconciously dreading it!

Just in case we needed it (again), that's gotta be 100% confirmation that you did The Right Thing. We all did, in fact, because I too feel better having ignored my own MNOTW and thereby having removed him from my life. ;D

Although, I did previously think that the ability to block numbers from contacting you by call or text was easy to do on all phones but it seems impossible on my fancy Viewty. >:( Must google... I'm a big fan of blocking people who give you nothing but grief, ever since I removed a particularly evil ex from my facebook! In these days of modern technology half the time it's the only thing you can do to shut these bloody people up, lol.

What is it with some men? You tell them no and state why and they have to start getting all catty about how we have 'changed and not for the better' - they say women are catty!
It's not just clients this goes for, it's certain men full stop (sorry guys on here your not the 'certain men' I am talking about).

I had a conversation with my ex not so long back where he was just himself (wanker) and I would not play along and I got told I was sad and bitter and how much of a pity it was, my how you have changed and not for the better.... sort of thing.
Good Lord Man, get a grip.

I guess I would ignore him as well if I were you. You can't reason with a person like this, they have no reasoning. He would get a kick out of your responding to him so don't do it.
I hope he buggers off now, your quite right, your life is far better than his, what's more, he possibly realises it.

It just means that you're not as easily manipulated as you once used to be.

Wise words indeed.  How true (and don't they just hate it!)

It's ok, I completely sympathise - men are wankers - I should know!

I've had the odd guy like this - they think they can poke into your life and persuade you to seem them because they are special or spend a lot of money with you. After all other businesses treat their valued customers don't they?

They may well do that, but this business is a very personal and intrusive one. After all you wouldn't bother your plumber at all hours of the night, get stroppy if/when they couldn't respond immediately.

Some of the stuff in this thread can relate to my thread in the general section about guys trying to persuade you to see them at odd hours. There can be very valid, personal reasons why an Escort doesn't or isn't able to work at short notice, after a certain time or requests 24 hours notice for weekend bookings - as I do. Sometimes they can be personal, other times simply in order to run a business and provide a decent service.

Well said and I have repeated this to the fools that call me at 3 am!!!  I texted once the next day saying why on earth did you call me at that hour?.  Recent answer was I thought it was 24/7..............  my reply - so when exactly do I sleep then?

There seems to be some stupid myth that we don't need sleep in this line of work!!!!
