There seems to be some stupid myth that we don't need sleep in this line of work!!!!

Hickory, dickory dock....the bee buzzed round the clock. The clock struck 5, she went to her hive. Hickory dickory dock!  :D

old school nusery rhymes. They teach 'em early!

It just comes down to a total lack of respect, and courtesy, they feel entitled to misbehave because of our work. It must be that crack-ho image playing in their heads. Hence the question, we get asked, "why do you do this?" What they are really asking, is "you seem relatively normal, and show of signs of track marks up your arms, and you sound intelligent, so why would you choose to suck cock for a living, is there something else wrong with you, that isn't apparently evident."

Well said and I have repeated this to the fools that call me at 3 am!!!  I texted once the next day saying why on earth did you call me at that hour?.  Recent answer was I thought it was 24/7..............  my reply - so when exactly do I sleep then?

It's annoying and if they payed any attention they'd know better, but I guess they think we're like tradesmen. I dated a locksmith for a bit (the guy with NSU). He always had his phone with him and would take a callout at any time, and he wasn't even turning a profit.

These are the same gentlemen with no concept of time or geographical distance. Not only do they want an outcall at 2am, they want it within the hour. It's unfathomable for them to think that we might actually be asleep. Or even if you are one of those nightbirds, that we're not actually Superwoman who can get there in three shakes of a lamb's tail.

The problem is, because we sell what is essentially, a fantasy, normalcy isn't a word associated with us and our job. So for (some) gentlemen, the fantasy extends to turning up at their doorstep dressed to kill in full regalia in the space of half an hour ready to take a pounding. Not too much to ask. :)

Given how much I was charged for about ten seconds work once, I'm not surprised he'd do call-outs at all hours, but I'm amazed he wasn't making a profit.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

(He made loads of money as a bloke with some tools, so then he decided to start a proper business with a shop and employees. He might be doing well now.)

The concept of living in a fantasy land works for the first couple of times, but after being told a number of times and still ignoring it, it is pure disrespect.
Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the ground in the morning, Satan shudders and says: "Oh shit, she's awake!"

Well ive only been in this job just over a year, have regs who have been seeing me ages but on the whole have found regs have a time-frame of a few months. After this its "But we are friends" or makes booking then texts that its "More for a chat, really." Dunno whats going through thier heads really, time to block, delete and ignore!
