Tips are more London/south east based where the culture tends to enjoy flashing the cash.

I am lucky if I get a tip so much as once a year where I live these days.  Just ain't gonna happen.

Once in a blue moon, the odd £5 or £10.  Sometimes wine or chocolate (both of which I like). Years ago a customer gave me a £1 lottery ticket which won me £40  :)
I think the culture of tips is fading, also hard to give tips when paying by card or phone.

I always get 20 from my lovely Irish reg and 50 from someone I suspect has Irish heritage. Always  :)

I won’t allow my fee paid by anything other than cash, I have one regular that transfers but I’m going to stop it because I don’t like it and it’s my choice and he knows I don’t like it yet he takes the limit out at the ATM during the day and sees me at night which is why he never has the cash, he has a heavy coke issue but I’ve known him for years and he is easy as so I don’t mind him taking coke.

Definitely fading in general . I work in a night club too ( been there years ) and our  tips have just dwindled over the last 3 years or so ...

Interesting my mate used to do hostessing. I asked how she gets them to pay. Every 15 minutes she says, 'you must tip me £XXX now.' I thought wow she's got brass balls! They're dependent on tips and have to be totally upfront.
