Lawyer flies me to Beijing, China for a week, puts me up in a hotel. Speaks passable English, enough to hold a conversation but not too in depth. Everything starts out great. He shuttles me around to the Forbidden City and Great Wall and gives me spending money to see the sights. We go out for lunch and dinner every day and order half the menu and feast like kings, he treats me to spa days. When it comes time to consummate the deal, it's a disaster.
