I've felt like utter crap for the past 24 hours and have barely been able to move. If you're booked in for a vaccine, it might be worth keeping the next day free just in case you feel dreadful.

I had the same thing, and ended up laying in bed for a day and a half. It came on about eighteen hours after the jab and didn't subside for another 36 hours. Affects some people more than others.

Then people like you should get a passport stating they are exempt from the vaccine for medical reasons. I don't understand why I should stop myself from posting my vaccine status on my website and show awareness to my clients. This is a little bit like going to Tesco without the mask to show solidarity with those who can't wear masks for medical reasons.

I'm not exempt, and didn't say I was, so don't jump down my throat for standing up for those who are exempt., I mearly pointed out that there are some who are and can be discriminated against.  I've seen plenty of people point the finger and be agressive to those who cannot wear masks when walking in shops etc, and it is illigal to ask someone who has a disability to prove why they are exempt or show a lanyard, just the same as it is getting a passport stating they are exempt (which by the way doesn't exist).  It's discrimination.  As several others have said, they wouldn't bother putting up they've had the jab, just like they wouldn't if they'd been tested regularly for an STI or ask a client if they've had the jab.

Streetlight UK (sex worker charity) can arrange a Covid vaccine for you if you are an escort. If you are having problems arranging one yourself with your GP, you can contact them and they will do it for you.

I had my first vaccine last Friday morning and felt fine straight away but progressively achy later on, arm very sore too. Couldn't sleep and felt terrible the next day but pretty much ok by that night. Not very nice and I couldn't work the day after either, it seems quite common to feel rough for a day or two afterwards. I'm fine with the Flu one too!

I'm not going to be getting the jab and I'm honest with clients who ask me this question. Some don't want to book/re-book me because of this and that's fair enough, but others actually want to see me because we have similar thoughts on the subject. I won't be advertising my medical history on my profile/website though. If the question is brought up I'll tell them directly.
I think it's good your not being pressured into someone elses ddecision.

Need to ask for some guidence.
Are ladies adding covid related information on their websites about procedure and their preferences etc?
Are you having conversations on the phone  or on arrival ?
Before I start escorting I want to  get this bit done right first.

There's no guidelines for this, it is completely up to you as an individual.

I had my first vaccine. Very mild and mostly unnoticeable soreness from the injection and I slept like a log for the rest of the next day but otherwise fine. It's the AZ one and the 21 days have passed so it's working properly. The second vaccine is booked in. I follow the science and know the issues. For younger people it's effective with the first vaccine. If you're older you need the second for full strength. Either way it's going to help you not catch it or pass it on and if you do very likely things won't be serious. I'm still going to be careful and avoid anything like being in crowded badly ventilated buildings or around too many under 30's.

Hey, I know some people have had luck getting vaccines in advance and/or through stating their working situation to get rushed ahead despite their age group so just wanted to query something.

I had my first one, booked via the NHS, on 30th May. My second isn't able to be scheduled any sooner than mid-august with the NHS booking system (12 weeks). Annoyingly as I had Moderna, a lot of the listed walk-in centres won't be suitable as they just have AZ, or don't actually specify what they have (I find this system of not naming the vaccines available such a shambles). Did anyone have any luck with Moderna in particular, using SW as a reason to bring forward the second dose? I know they're bringing over 40 and vulnerable categories forward to 8 weeks gap instead of 12 now.

I might try calling 119 to see if they will take my working situation into account to bring it forward, but I'm always wary of telling strangers over the phone about it, or having some swerf on the other end, so wanted to check here if anyone has had any luck first.

I don't know if it's worth putting my vaccination status on my ads. Purely for marketing purposes really. Only had one dose so far but it might be a reassurance to the odd potential client.
I did & got many clients who also had  been vaccinated were happy to come see me .

I didn't/haven't/won't and got many punters who may or may not have been vaccinated happy to come and see me :).

I did actually have one ask over the phone this week and politely told him my medical history was none of his business, just as his was none of mine. He booked.

I had been asked by a client and he visibly relaxed when I said I was.  Most of mine are done too, it just makes everything a little bit more chill in my books.
