I bet the woman in Corrie will work again after the five grand spent.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

And Daniel will need the money so will be her driver.

So. Jiggle it Jeff/Geoff has seen sex workers before when he was with his first wife and used to come back with Sti's just like he caught an sti recently from a sex worker.

So the producers obviously think we are all riddled. Twats.

This storyline was written with assistance from Women’s Aid and based on a few survivors stories, so it’s not entirely the producer’s decision to portray sex workers as disease ridden. Geoff catching an STI and infecting Yasmine was definitely used as a plot device, I am certain the producers weren’t deliberately perpetrating the complete misconception  that sex workers don’t take their sexual health seriously and knowingly infect their clients.

As an aside, the thought of having someone like Geoff try to book me fills me with dread.

Millie, I don't agree. Yes it was a plot line with Yasmeen but why talk about Geoff coming back with infections due to sex workers from years ago? The message here is, if you visit sex workers you're going to catch something. It's disgusting and portrays us sex workers as a bunch of walking scabs in my view. It's not on.

In my defense, I don't watch any other soaps. But I do love Corrie's humour. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😀

Oh, I concur with this/you absolutely.

Don’t get me wrong, I am disgusted at sex workers have been portrayed, but I understand why in this instance, they decided to do it. Even so, it is wrong, not least for the most part, sex workers are meticulous about their sexual health. Indeed, I am far more careful now I take payment than I ever was when I had sex for free.

As an aside, I flipping love Corrie. Am currently waiting for Classic Corrie to start on ITV3!

Millie I'm addicted to Corrie. I like it when the actors have lines that are double entendres and have to keep a straight face. Also like it when they have the characters turning up wearing the same Christmas jumpers etc.

Given that adultwork offers the option of ticking Bareback or Unprotected Sex for our profile I am not sure all escorts are as scrupulous as they should be.

I love Corrie but this left me incensed!
He was more likely to infect his wife with something from picking up a random in a bar at closing time!
Don't the stereotypes make you want to scream!?

Yep FA. And it's not just a recent infection, the producers also went with it happening before as if it happened every time he went with a SW. Ridiculous.
