Title: coley and gill scented candle oils use with extreme caution
Post by: losthope on 11 June 2016, 02:44:51 pm
Just thought I would warn you all about what has just happened with this oil, I put some in the candle burnet in my hotel room, started massaging my client, with my back to the candle burner, by sheer luck house keeping knocked my door, so I quickly went to the door rather than give her chance to come in, she apparently had food and beverages ??? anyway as I turned round the candle burner was actually in flames, in a panic I threw my coffee onto it and filled the room with smoke by doing so, long story short if house keeping hadn't knocked, my room could have set on fire, now I have used this oil before and it hasn't happened before, however it kind of gave me a bit of a scare, my poor client was in a panic thinking the smoke alarm was going to go off and he would get caught stark bollock naked in the room, think I'm going to return to the yankee candles as this has really opened my eyes to how unpredictable oils can be x

Oh god at least you are ok.

I thought there were rules about using anything with a naked flame in hotels though.

Hmmm, I have been tempted to break the rules, suppose I learnt in time x
