well now holdon just a second. Maybe he was just saying the first part as a way to be 'nice' or suggest his money fall on good ground. I dont think he was being mean about it. I had one guy give me money and say, "now this is for your college tuition". I'm like, uh ok my tuition is taken care of already!

I'm sure he was being nice, there's no debate on that. But there's no doubt he was being a patronising git. Like the guy that said that this money was for your tuition. He made the assumption that you needed help with it.

I had a regular once tell me that property was the best place to put your money, apart from that savings bonds and the ilk. It wasn't so much a lecture as Jenny's was, but a) he made the assumption that I don't look after my money and b) it wasn't his place to tell me what to do with it in the first place.

I didn't take it personally as he meant well, but clients can be patronising as hell and not realise it, simply because we fuck for a living. As Jenny says, I bet he wouldn't have told any other professional what to do with their money. If I had asked, that would've been one thing, because depending on their occupation, some clients can give you sound advice. But as I didn't, it was pretty presumptuous on his part.

Precisely, Brandy.

I just didn't like the underlying message of his 'advice' - which was I'm too dim to take care of myself, my family, and my future.

Ha, can you imagine? Lets flip the script. Lets pretend WE'RE the CEO of their firm and tell them where to spend their raise. That would probably mean no buying escorts, no buying cocaine and no liquor! Can you imagine?

Hey sounds like you've got yourself a financial analysis who's willing to pay YOU for your time! See, it all works out  :D   ;D  ::)
