Motivation to work..
« on: 25 April 2021, 12:36:35 pm »
Hello, hi  ;D

I’m finding that I’ve lost my motivation to work.. I have every intention of doing so, yet never work as much as I could  :-\

Anybody else experienced this? How do you ‘push’ yourself to accept more bookings and earn more money (I tend to earn enough to live etc)? My phone gets a dozen+ messages/calls a day, but it’s me stopping myself and I don’t know why I do it  :-[
I’ve always ‘enjoyed’ escorting and have had lovely clients..

I’ve recently lost a lot of weight (almost 7 stone since October) and I feel like my confidence has taken a dive in escorting. Guys always booked me as I was A bigger girl with huge boobs; now I feel like a melted welly haha. My boobs have dropped two cup sizes and I’m a lot more flabbier in places, probably look better with clothes on LOL. (Saving for plastic surgery - end of year hopefully).

I don’t have anybody in this industry to ‘talk to’ and nobody in real life I can particularly confide in about the job.

Any advice would be great..

I've had the same problem but have put on weight recently. I have some lovely regulars and it does not feel like work so find these jobs easy. I haven't seen too many new clients since lockdown

I have noticed a lot of my clients have put on weight too and are complimentary about me putting on weight. One said he hasn't noticed me putting on weight but thinks my tits are bigger which is a bonus.

Kind of in the same situation, it got to a point where I was only taking one booking a day just to survive, while looking helpless at my phone ringing. It’s just feels like my soul doesn’t want to deal with it anymore, even if I do like what I do...so I found a way to motivate myself by increasing my prices with a £10 on top. It just motivates me when I know I’m getting £80 for the half hour, I’ve been charging £70 for a few years now, I must say it did motivate me to take 2-3 bookings a day. I feel much valued and even if my phone doesn’t ring as much as it did , I now get better clients. You need to set a goal, something that you’d love to buy for yourself and you’ll be up and ready. I’m here if you need someone to talk xx
What happened happened, what's important is what you do next...?

Hi welshchick
You can get bit burnt out in this job.ive quit them come back few times
I had lost weight too and well done for doing well with it
body parts shrink but bits of unwanted flab I'd love removed if I could afford also
We often see ourself in a harsh light yet clients might  not see the same.
They want to enjoy you and think differently.
Can you take a short break even few days for yourself ? It's good your on saafe  where you can share all your sex work related issues.

I am feeling exactly the same. It's a chore sometimes to stay even slightly motivated to carry on.

If we did not have such awful timewasters, fake bookings, rude men, risk of danger i think a lot of us would not feel like this.

Sadly they seem worse than ever right now. Although, I’m being pleasantly surprised by the ones who in the first line of an email say, “I’d love to meet you and I am more than happy to pay a deposit”, please keep those ones coming.
