Just as the title says really

I do have a bit of a habit of being nice to people on the phone, then bitching out loud to myself once I've hung up. Not to nice clients, but to annoying or stupid people. Think someone that has arranged to come to see me at 7, but then calls at 6.55 to say they can't make it. I'll be nice on the phone, but once they've hung up I'll say maybe thanks for nothing you fucking timewaster. Yes I know it's not exactly big of me but no one gets hurt and we all need to vent sometimes.

Apart from today when I got a text from a client that cancelled half an hour ahead of time (so didn't do anything wrong really) saying you didn't have to call me a pathetic loser. The thing is I didn't say that, to him. But I did though- but thought I'd hung up  :(

I denied all knowledge but suspect he knows there wasn't really a cross line or random interference from a baby monitor.

Feel bad now!

In my civvy job I did something similar, I called a particularly dickish client a wanker under my breath when I thought we'd disconnected. Unfortunately he heard me and called my manager to complain. It's
mortifying when it happens so I do feel for you. Looking on the bright side, maybe we're doing them a favour by telling them in a not-so-subtle way how annoying they are!

    • I should be updating this instead...
I used to work with a politician who used to say all sorts of things once they thought the call was over.

Fortunately for them - and a positive side effect of using an old-style corded handset! - they never did accidentally not hang up before mouthing off about how awful the other person was.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Thanks for the nice replies, it's good to know it's not just me!

Ian that brings to mind Gordon Brown's famous "bigot" comment while his microphone was still on. Your politician friend isn't Scottish is he  ;D

And Amelia maybe he was a wanker (sounds like it) maybe you did him a favour by letting him know!

A man called me and I knew he was going to be a total waste of space so got rid of him but in a nice way as is my habit (yes I am a saint) then saved him as BlockTwat. Or I THOUGHT I had saved him but no I had managed to text it to him instead. Never done that before or since and still don't know how I managed it.

He txted back No need to call me a twat.  Oops.

Do you know what Mrs TH I tend to agree with you..... no curse is more sincerely meant that the one that is muttered with clenched fists once the recipient is out of earshot (or not!!)

Maybe in a subversive way it does do these people some good to truly know how their behaviour makes other people feel .

I see a lot of clients who are new to seeing escorts & normally this is no problem. However on one occasion I saw a newbie who no matter what I did would not relax and sat really tensely for 30 minutes before saying he was leaving.

His manner and attitude left me with a bad taste in my mouth so I texted my friend to say how awkward and unpleasant it had been. And you've guessed it it went to the guy instead....

Mortified I texted to apologize but didn't hear back from him.... needless to say since then I have double and triple checked texts are going to the right sender...

Hadley, I go with Mrs TH. It's really hilarious.
A couple of months ago in a posh restaurant I was having my dinner watching 2 businessmen bully a young lovely waitress. Take it all out on her, humiliate her in front of all clients. Whatever got into me (apart those 2 glasses of wine), I'm not sure but once I paid, I went to those guys' table and called them sad pathetic morons. Really loud. (Then I ran for my life). People should do this kind of thing more often.

I would have done similar but would NOT have ran for my life. I would have stayed and made them feel as uncomfortable as they had the waitress.  I hate to see restaurant bullying!

Well I didn't ran out of the restaurant. I walked out with dignity so I could hear all other clients burst into laughing. Once outside I freaked out and ran like crazy lol.
I worked as a waitress when I was at the uni. And honestly doing this felt awesome. Some people just deserve hearing the truth.

That's funny. I'd admit to it & say I could have got someone else in so I've lost money, make him guilty aswell as insulted haha

I'm constantly checking that my phone has disconnected & frantically tapping the home key because I'm always swearing & spitting feathers at them it gets out the frustration doesn't it.

Ha! Well to be honest how difficult is it to stumble sideways into your own en suite. Doesn' t make her a Mensa member does it :D :D

After a few certain calls end.  I just stick two fingers up to the phone and think fuck you arse hole. Or what ever depending how pissed off I am. This helps calm me down.
