Cheeky offers and feeble excuses
« on: 31 October 2017, 09:17:00 pm »
Right, I'm going to have a little moan, cause I've had not one but TWO cheeky buggers tonight trying to take the piss, one after the other, one in Welwyn, and one in London.

They both arranged to see me, then realised that they had "left their bank card at home/work", and then decided to try their luck and offer me A THIRD of my usual rate, (it's all the cash they had on them) if they buy me a meal and some drinks (on the company card).

It's almost like they're chatting together on some punter forum. Maybe they are.

I must admit I was tempted by their offers, cause some money is better than none, and they both sounded like lovely guys on the phone, but then decided it's not worth my time and effort.

A little warning to newbies:-
if you ever offer discounts, beware that word might spread amongst the punter community and they'll all expect it. (This especially applies to those working in smaller cities.)

Anyway, glad I've got that off my chest, I'm just gonna head to the student bar and chill tonight.

Anyone else had any similar cheeky punters?

Funny that this is here because I?ve just had the best message ever.
?I can?t afford to pay you but it?s been 9 years, I?d really appreciate it.? Not even cheekily offering half my rate.  :FF no wonder he can?t find a civvie to shag him.

I think the cheeky ones think that we will just take an offer because we want the money but honestly I?d rather not have the money than shag a rude cheapskate. They?d have a shit booking anyway cos I?d be really pissed off.

I mean, I don't really blame these kind of guys, is it really any different to bartering with a shopkeeper for a discount?
it's just bloody annoying to have 2 in one evening....

Was it the kind of wand that could make money appear or make him disappear? if so then would take it!  ;D

I think it's alot different. They aren't haggling over goods they are haggling over a person being naked with them.
I also highly doubt they walk into Marks and Spencer and offer them less money for a shirt they fancy. Some guys think because we are sex workers then we are desperate.

Hmm, I guess I wouldn't want to see a guy that thought so little of me.

They will just be chancers.

I've had the card broken excuse, once after being persuaded to drop personal plans to see someone shirt notice - he promised a 2 hour booking, on the way told he he could only get enough for what I worked out to be 40 minutes.

That was a lesson to me, and if short notice I'll often now ask the client to confirm he has the cash.

I don't take it personally if a guy haggles for an hour. Especially if he's Asian, because it's like the cultural rules that you never pay the asking price for anything :D I will usually counter offer "OK how about 45 mins for [whatever they said -10]" and that goes down well, and is generally more than my published 45min rate, so we both feel like we won!

Hope this will make u all smile......when i was new to the job, many years ago ,i had a call from a guy wanting to book me. he said on the fone hes a baker and asked if id like a few Cornish pastys when he came to see me,i said oooh lovely, yes please. Along he came, with 6 delicious looking pastys. took him to the bedroom, did the necessary then as he was leaving he handed me 30 quid. I looked at it and said sorry but its ?60 for half hour...he looked at me and said ,"thats why I bought the pastys for you, cos I cant afford the full amount"  Its not often im gobsmacked ,I just stood and watched him go out the door lololol. I learned very quickly from that to always get the money up front........
ps I can say the pastys were the nicest Ive ever had ;D

Jesus, a fiver per pasty! At least you had lunch sorted for the week! I would feel so violated if I had sex with someone and didn't get paid my full rate... I only consent to fucking you if it's for a set price. Though I do adore pasties......... I kind of think I want to ask clients to start bringing me food now.
