This really, REALLY, REALLY makes my blood boil 

When you get someone on the phone asking about prices and you confirm a time and length of booking, text postcode etc and then he texts back saying he's only just got 50 and not 60 like you said.

It's so sly and cowardly!

Had someone like that who told me yesterday that they had an hour to travel too  Yeah, right, in this weather too 

I've had clients travel much further on fairly exposed roads, and me the same for an outcall in some of 'this weather'. People are moving around, and not just use - folk going to and from work. Was absolutely fine, roads and route and weather reports checked avidly before departure.

Do have to add this wasn't on the worst days of the recent storm, and not to the very worst areas (which I understand have been badly hit).

However it is annoying when someone does try it on, some say it's a "If you don't ask, don't get". Just gotta be firm and keep calm.

Text him to find somebody within his price range.

I had one trying to book for Sunday and asking for a Sunday discount. Felt rather satisfying to say I wasn’t working that day.
