Hmmm, dont know whether to watch this. My personal and its personal opinion is that us as off street prossies have chosen to do this work and we don't have controlling pimps (i hope not) and are generally happy with our work. We are all allowed off days right!
But its a much seedier hidden world with the street workers and pimp controlled girls. I understand the issue with trafficked women and it is a problem, i suppose otherwise they wouldn't have done the documentary. But why don't they focus on the 'better' side of prossies, just for once! To stamp out the myths that we are pimped, disease ridden, sluts who are high on drugs? Id love to be able to show them a typical day at work for me. I screen my own clients, 99% time they are clean and descent blokes who just are after a shag and live a fantasy then go bk home to their families, money exchanged and we both go home happy. My money doesn't go on booze and drugs or to a pimp. My money is building up nicely to put a deposit on a House. I don't go round with my tits and arse hanging out, or stand on street corners. i am taxed and pay my NI.
Why dont they ever show this, side? The documentary is going to again put shame on us and make us labelled yet again. Im not ashamed of what i do, work hard and don't even play hard lol but im saving hard! This is turning into a bit of a rant, but i suppose the underworld of prossies could be documented but not in a name and shame way.
Rant over lol x
