Very annoying are no shows, especially when you turn another appointment down for theirs. I used to call them after 5 mins over & either leave a voicemail or text "are you OK finding me".

I sent one on a wild goose chase once, made him wait 10 mins because I'd "gone to get something out of the car" sent him to 2 different hotel rooms "oh you miss heard me, it's room 123 not 124" it made me smile, the fool still didn't get it after going to the second room. I bet he thought twice before wasting someone else's time again..

You kinda know they won't show if they're even 2 mins late, as the OP said the majority are ALWAYS
a couple of mins early (I know this, but I'm still never ready til right on the dot and have to tell them to give me a couple of minutes!).
So if I haven't heard from them 5 minutes after they were meant to b here, I'll send them a text asking if they can find it ok.
9 times out of 10 it will be a no-show (if they're gonna be late they'll get in touch and let me know), but I have had the odd one that was just a few minutes late.
Any more than 5 minutes late without communication is cancelled though!!
I don't have to be perfect, but I'm perfect at being me!

If they miss more than 25% of my time (10 mins for a qv) then theyre a no-show and their # get blacklisted

After 5 minutes (I text them at the booking time and 3 minutes past the booking time if no response) I text them that I have cancelled. Hopefully I get a last minute to make up for lost time, but most of the time I just cuss to myself and eat chocolate.

yes to the chocolate ,  I do text and ask if they have arrived then 5 mins later  I just send a text saying booking cancelled please don't call again, they go on block list and I open the fridge !!!

I rarely have no shows but last week 2 in a row. And I also have the policy of not texting or calling. I book my appointments by email, I checked in sent items if I gave them the right number. If I did and the don't show up I will add block to their name and pour myself a glass of wine  ;D

I'm getting callers saying they have seen me before  and booking in few hours from call then not turning up.  :FF
It's so quiet for me at the moment so I'm getting despondent.
but I'm not sending my  postcode out to any one else doing  this now.
