Well, I neither agree nor entirely disagree as I see it from a different angle. As for any implications about kiss and tell by mentioning merely an accountant as an example of a client that seems hardly the expose of the year! A lot of ladies who blog and who use the facility for expressing themselves and more importantly as a publicity tool will reveal at least as many details if not more. people ought to actually read the book before making all sorts of assumptions about her spilling the beans.
I read this earlier today and I couldnt agree with Honey more...(meaning I do agree)
As long as the girl isnt naming names, why should she be patronized? Again, just about everyone has mentioned something about a client on here, it shouldnt make much a difference if she writes a book and gets paid. Nearly every other subject on earth is spoken about, why sweep this under the rug?
Her book may not be the best for the newly-introduced to this industry, but for us who have been doing it awhile, I'm sure we may relate and even share laughs with some of her experiences...To say that she is kissing and telling is preposterous. I, or anyone for that matter has no idea who this accountant is. There are 50 gazillion accountants around, how do we know what city, province, state, or even continent this accountant is on?
I read lots of self-help books that used people (nameless or non-nameless) throughout the majority of the book. I dont think a book can be written without giving reference to someone. If the person is being anonymous, much less not even being described by physical features, its not kissing and telling. No one knows her clients from a whole in the wall.
Now, if she says "I spent a weekend with a guy who played for the (insert team) then you're sorta pushing the boundaries. If she said, "I spent a weekend with a professional sports figure who payed me $50,000, now thats completely anonymous and HARMLESS!
