I've recently discovered Black Garlic, which is basically white garlic that has been aged a while and tastes completely different and doesn't leave any garlicy smells afterwards.
Or so I was lead to believe. I had lunch yesterday and put 5 cloves of black garlic in it. I had two bookings yesterday and neither one mentioned they could smell it in the flat or on me, and then hubby came home from work and said the flat stank of garlic. My face just fell.
I walked up close to him and breathed on him asking if I smelled the same. He said "a little, but not as bad as the flat."
I'm mortified that I had two bookings stinking of garlic and both chaps were either too polite or embarressed to say anything about it. I won't be doing that again.
I shall just stick to eating it on an eve or at weekends.
