sorry bet i sound a right thick get!!
im just really shy with things like that, when its in a non sexual way..its strange but true!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ What D.3 says is true, so so true.

My don't you guys just laser it off? It takes 3 sessions and the hair is gone. forever. I had mine lasered out so I didn't have to deal with the bikini wax torture.

Out of curiousity Ana, how much is each session, does it go by the 'sq inch/cm' of hair to be removed or is it like us and goes by time?

Usually they have different rates for the different parts of the body. I got my chin & facial hair lasered, my armpits, my "bikini wax" area and also my upper thighs. it costed me a fortune but I'm one of those persons who grows hair like a monkey and was spending a fortune in waxing so I decided to go for a more drastic and definate solution. I think I payed a total of 150 pounds for 3 sessions in my bikini wax area and it has never grown again. The thing with the laser is that it burns slightly when being applied (not a comfortable feeling at all) but the bikini wax is much more painful! Just make sure you go to a person who's fully certified at doing this and has a proper license otherwise you risk getting serious burns. I'm planing to get all my legs lasered as a christmas present for myself but not now cause business is pretty slow so I'll have to wait for december.

I always wax completly down there, had shaved it there in the past and I dont like the itchy feeling and look, you dont get that with waxing. Its so quick and although its slightly painful it lasts seconds. worth it.

I used to shave but I had ILP or IPL whatever it is called.  I had this done years a go.  I had my underarms, bikini line, whole legs.  The salon near me had an offer, half price.

Now I have a boots hair removal IPL machine at home.  I'm working on my arms and my full bikini line, face and tummy.  I seem to have hair in the most random places.

The only problem is I do it about every 6 months at the moment.  I thinks it's great for someone with a little more discipline than me.  I really need to pull my finger out and get hair free asap.

I had my bikini line waxed about three times before I gave up as I couldn't deal with the ingrown hairs and regrowth.  In my salon they gave you a pair of paper knickers to put on if you only wanted the sides done.  You should phone around and ask the salons if they use them, or if you can wear a pair of you own knickers.  Explain that you are super shy and any decent salon will be understanding.  If they don't understand go somewhere else.

You can often get deals on laser hair removal on groupon. Obviously you should check that its a reputable salon if you're going to do this.

Hi Sadie

I just to be a beautician - when I trained if you only wanted the sides done, you can just keep you undies on and they just tuck some paper towelling in the sides to protect your underwear.  Then they ask you to move the paper and panties to the side a little so that they can apply the wax.  No need to get your foo-foo out if its only the sides.

Hope that helps
