Just a thought but I wonder if the invasion of bedbugs in London has anything to do with public transport, especially if the little critters can hitch a ride on your clothes etc? I remember watching a documentary a few years ago where they pulled up a bus chair and under uv light you could see it was riddled with bedbugs.  :o

There’s probably bed bugs in public buses but this plague now is (apparently) coming from Paris, those French bedbugs are bigger and more aggressive than their British counterparts (who seem to be smaller and more polite). It’s all over the news so careful with those French clients.

Did you raise it with reception or someone from the hotel? They should at least give you a full refund for the inconvenience, whether it is a 5* hotel or a b&b. This is totally unacceptable.
