Garters? Pretty ones with bows like saloon girls wear in westerns or moulin rouge. Fairly easy to hand sew with bits of ribbon and semi-thick elastic ribbing.

Ann Summers do hold ups to XXL bit pricey compared to some, but literally the only hold ups that both stay up and don't dig in around the top of my thigh! They stay up on their own but I also wear them as stockings with a suspender belt as they sit straighter around the top then stockings

I have used the double sided tape to hold my stockings up but only because I am only 5 foot and suspender belts mean stockings end up round my knees if I don't stop the stockings relying on the belts to stay up
