Background for DIY photos and selfies

I'd like to use a varied different background when using the  camera  for new images  in both my galleries
I got some fabrics in different colours to disguise background for an appealing  effect  me in red lingerie against black backdrop.
Hotel rooms are always worth taking pictures in too.
Not keen on my home with clutter showing in background  so often crop those shots .
What does everyone else do ?

You can buy a chroma key background screen online, and then on computer put any background you like off the internet.  Cheap and effective.

Or just use a plain wall with nothing on it and maybe hang a coloured sheet or something, or even buy a couple of sample wallpaper rolls in bright patterns and colours. Pin them to the wall though and not paste them! Place a big vase of flowers or something stylish on a little table next to you and snap away. Plenty of ideas to use your own room(s) and no one would ever know it was your home.
