When you think you know someone ...
« on: 12 November 2019, 01:19:16 pm »
I have this regular whom I adore. I've known him I think for around 3 years. He's just a lovely man, pleasant, funny, extremely clean and respectful.

I can set my watch to him, just like clockwork. He is a man of routine. We never go off the beaten track - he likes the same thing all the time.

We have things in common so much so that I bumped into him socially one night as he lives local to me. I kept things professional though and just said hello. I'll always keep it professional with him as he's married.

Since that night he has booked longer time and has asked for stuff we've never done. I'm never shocked in this job but with him I was surprised as the booking went rather off piste!

He probably saw you in a different light and seen how professional and discrete you were in public and may have found the confidence to explore with you.

Seems like the client relationship is growing and well if he’s booking longer and he is a decent guy, it’s only a positive thing.

I doubt every client is the same when bumping into them in public though (so I’m learning).

Glad it went well! Call me a pooper of the party. I don't think it's necessarily a good omen when a client suddenly changes appetites.

Hmm, yeah, something has definitely shifted somewhat ... the dynamics have changed. I hope it continues though as he is really one of my favourites :) Fingers and everything else crossed!
