Title: at discretion
Post by: partygirl69 on 12 April 2012, 09:40:44 pm
now i dont see the point of this

either you do the service or not

surely at discretion is false promises

ive noticed alot of girls charge extra for their-at discretion services

i think its misleading to gents

if i dont like something i dont do it

I offer a-levels at discretion, because I don't want every man who walks through my door to expect it, they could be far too large for me, too rough or I may just not fancy it at that time! I don't charge extra for it at all, but I do say it would only be available on bookings for an hour or longer (because I prefer an enema before anal sex, this means more time for me to prepare for the booking, it just wouldn't be worth it on a half hour).

That could be because when they get down there the guy might be a bit whiffy, or have suspicious lumps/bumps etc  :-X

Having a wash wont make you feel any more comfortable about any potential discharge that might've been causing the smell though.

I do agree with you that if someone doesn't want to do something full stop then they should not advertise it at all.. but I think there are legitimate reasons for ladies wanting to be able to refuse a service without the client potentially kicking up a fuss because it was advertised as part of their regular service.

I agree with partygirl - anybody can refuse a service to anyone at any time they like and it's silly to say that just because we don't have 'at discretion' at the end of the sentence we're somehow obliged to do anything with anybody, surely?

I don't use the term at all - if somebody turns up rotten teeth and gum disease they're not going to get kissing and I'll tell them why.  All services are at discretion, including whether they even get an appointment in the first place - it makes no sense to me and I'd dearly love to see the back of it.

No I wasn't saying we're obliged to do anything, with anyone that we didn't want to do, just that 'at discretion' makes it far easier to explain when a service is refused. I use to have A-levels (without discretion) on my profile and whilst I didn't have anyone pushy I did have to refuse the service to one gent due to his size and his comeback was 'but it says on your profile that you offer it' so I changed it to 'at discretion' and since then every client who wants it has asked me first if it is likely to be available, rather than just assume it will be.

Presumably in the same way that when I see a girl is offering bareback, I instantly assume it's on offer to every guy she sees.. for all I know she could be extremely picky about who she does that with, but the fact it's on her 'enjoys list' makes me think it's something on offer to all.

I offer anal too, and have never put 'at discretion' but have never had a problem turning people down - to be fair, on the one and only occasion it was due to size I did have a go first but it was just impossible (I could hardly get a Trojan XL on it even).

I've said to a couple of people that I'm not comfortable doing it with them if they've been particularly rough or clumsy earlier in the booking, and they've either calmed down and gone ahead or carried on whatever we were doing. Then again, it's something I do enjoy doing and I think the number of punters I have turned down for it I can probably count on one hand. I've refused to kiss punters twice because of their hygiene and explained the reason why to them too - I just think explaining things clearly to them is more helpful than relying on a get out which nobody trusts anyway.

I agree it's always best to explain why something is not on offer to them otherwise how would they know for next time? Especially if the issue is around oral or general clenliness. If a client has been a bit clumsy or clearly enjoys harder/rougher sex, I always tell them that anal is only going to be on offer if they are happy to let me take the lead when it comes to putting it in! I don't like having to add terms and conditions to services as I think it can dampen the mood a little but after one 'gent' years ago tried to put it in like he was hammering a nail I will never do anal without first talking to the client about how to do it properly for both of our comfort and enjoyment.  :-\

Discretion is my favourite word  ;D Fair enough a lot of girls say I do blah at my own discretion never do it. I just say it to protect myself, I am not good at confrontation so if I get a smelly willy and they say something about me using a condom then I can use the whole 'sore mouth' excuse. Also if a guy asks for it and then turns up and I don't want to do it they can't say I guaranteed the service. x

On my AW profile I?ve listed some services as standard and the same ones at discretion. For example: I offer FK so I?ve ticked this box but also ticked the FK box saying at discretion. The purpose behind doing is to ensure I appear in both search results. Some guys will only search for one or the other and others for both. Is this dumb? There are a couple of services that are purely at discretion so I haven?t ticked both boxes just the one at discretion.
