Another Rant....

So we all accept the "Non British" workers that advertise on AW, and i have have shared many a hotel with them in the past (hard not to, if you work from hotels).

So today I had an Indian guy who made a booking but was dismayed when he turned up, I was British and I was "Far" too old.... - I can handle all of that, but he felt I was in the wrong?????

Working on the fact that he had spoken to me on the phone at least a couple of times, it does state my age on my profile +35 and he still went a head with the booking, I really should have charged him for wasting "MY" time.

Some of them are so dumb it's unbelievable.

I wouldn't want to go ahead with a booking with anyone with that sort of attitude anyway.

Sounds so bitchy to say you have to work with 'non British' workers, I can almost eat whatever issues you have with it, either with the price the way they may look ect.

As long as I can communicate with someone and get on with someone from any walk of life in work or outside work and they don't piss me off then I don't care.

Sometimes clients are just twats and just like shit, these things sometimes happen. 

Not unless if course you are insinuating that you are loosing work because of non Brits, then well if you are, then sorry that you feel that way but your judgement is misguided.

there is not a fat lot you can actually do about  the as you put it Non Brits you have to learn to live and let live competition is always going to be there if its not EU its Chinese if its not  them its Thai list could go on... Clients are the ones who choose the girls so its really about what floats there boat and  the big one the Price.....so still don't understand your point

Maybe the Op meant that the client was so used to seeing foriegn escorts that he was suprised she was actually British. Or pretending to be suprised anyway. Maybe?

Firstly, 'British' is not a race, it is a nationality; this is good old fashioned xenophobia and not racism.

I think everybody has made their point about wanting to know quite why the OP thinks it matters what individual prossies working out of a hotel have on their passports and since I'd quite like to know too, we can give her a chance to answer. If the thread starter is just another moan about punters not reading ads properly, then she can explain that too and we can maybe have a poll about which of the other threads about the same thing we can merge it with :).

Hi Sarah.

From what i've read on these boards about timewasters, it sounds like the man who came to visit you intended to do just that? Waste your time, whether or not you where a 35+ year old Brit or a 19 year old Eastern European...

I'm sorry your time was wasted though, if that was his intention to begin with at least you have the knowledge he must lead a very dull life.

And as far as nationalities go, if us women where the service seekers I would think it would be nice to know there are a few Spanish, Russian, anything but British guys around for various reasons...  :P

As for the timewaster, perhaps he just didn't even have the correct fee...

I'm wondering if what was meant by it was that Sarah was knocked back for being British and by the "we accept the non British workers" comment she's meant to say she doesn't have an issue with them, like no one should have a problem with her being British, and found it strange she was knocked back for being British? I wonder if its perhaps came out wrong.
