I have found the most gorgeous incall property, perfect in every way....however the landlord lives next door, I am lowish volume (3-4 regular clients a day over 3 days). There is a shared lobby (that is also shared with a shop, no cameras that I can see. I've had a sleepless night thinking about it, I am about to sign contracts (just 6 months initially). Really unsure what to do.
You say it is perfect in every way, yet, the next thing you write is that your landlord lives next door. So, it is not perfect.
I question that the number of clients you see is low volume too. What is certain, is that combination of the male only visitors, the shared lobby and the landlord next door means people will figure it out very quickly.
Either way, as a rental property, your landlord will specific insurance, and use it as a work space is a breach of contract. Keep this in mind. It is also worth noting that many landlords do not want anyone, whatever they do, working from their property.
