Hi Lucymay, I always use bio-fem before sex and often after sex especially after a good rinse out. I don't know if it is necessary, as the pack recommend using it every 4 days, but it also says there is no problems with using more and I feel better using it and as I sometimes suffer from dryness I find it kinder to my insides than lube.

I have just bought the product Lena mentioned, because it seems to be cheaper, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm going to give it a go at the weekend as I am not working then and if I have an adverse reaction I won't lose out on work.

I haven't had thrush or BV for months now and the last thrush attack brought on by a sugar overload was mild and cleared up with the cream and liberal amounts of biofem within two days of appearing.

Touch wood it stays this way.

Lena, balance active seems to be doing the same as biofem.

Balance active it is cheaper to buy, but because biofem is in one resealable tube you have control over the amount you use at any one time, unlike the other where you have to use the entire portion.

I'll probably stick with my biofem, but know there is something else I can use.

I always have a stock of the stuff and some with me whereever I go, lol, but do sometimes go without using it for a few days.
