Hey ladies I applied to a few agencies and let’s just say they wasn’t nice bout my look . But this lady called me Just now to tell me very kindly that if I take my dreads out and get rid of my tattoos she will hire me I said to her oh really thank you very much and hanged up are they for real how insulting I know face tattoos and heavily tattooed women aren’t for everyone but I have always done ok but to be called up and insulted like that it is a joke.

It sucks when people are small minded like that but I definitely wouldn't take it personally. Agencies tend to like a 'generic' look and are infamous for often being stubbornly unwilling to diversifying with the people they'll work with. It's their loss. There are clients that really love that alt-girl look, if you can work indie I think it would be better because it means you can advertise directly to them.
