Title: A bit grim in parts but useful...
Post by: amy on 11 December 2009, 11:22:33 pm
Found these advice sheets on my travels:

How to check a client (http://www.sqwisi.org.au/sqwisi/resources/Checking%20a%20client.pdf) (visual checks etc - really practical advice)

Photos of common STIs (http://www.sqwisi.org.au/sqwisi/resources/STI%20Infections%2006.pdf) (not whilst eating  :-X)

Dealing with difficult clients (http://www.sqwisi.org.au/sqwisi/resources/Dealing%20with%20difficult%20clients.pdf) (more really helpful stuff)

The main site is here (http://www.sqwisi.org.au/sqwisi/resources/Resources.jsp) and there are many other fact sheets just for us too although as it's Australian, the legal bits don't apply. Good stuff though :D.

D'ya know, I was just looking around for something else and I came across it by accident - I thought it would be good for newbies but even though it's nothing most of us don't know already I thought it was really clear, sensible and well put. The gonorrhoea eye is rank though  ;D.

Ace site with good advice, thanks Amy.

However, I'm not sure how my clients will react when I get out my torch and tell them to drop their pants. ;D

I used to work in Australia in parlours and we had really bright "checking lamps" in every room, we'd have the guys stand next to them and drop their pants at the start of the booking before any money changed hands and do a really thorough check. I guess the guys were used to it because it's standard practice over there. You wouldn't believe how many guys I had to turn away, on a Fri/Sat night in Sydney probably one in five guys, Melbourne men seemed a bit cleaner, prob only had to turn away one in thirty. I saw a couple of HORRENDOUS cases of warts, I'd get another girl in to "double check" so the client didn't think I was making it up, and we'd both point out the numerous warts covering his penis and he'd be like "ooh yeah, gosh I've never noticed that before, how strange", eeew!

You wouldn't want to do this in Ireland.  :-X

It would depend on the scene, I have done this to Dom clients. Good cop, bad cop game. :)

If I was pulling ?5 grand in a week...I wouldn't even mind to lick their butt  :D

I'd spend 1/4 of that onto dental damns though
