Think I'm just going to pack up and go home...
« on: 01 June 2012, 08:41:05 pm »
... this is just pointless.

Have had my one - eyed coke addict for a second visit. 30 min appt. Got 25 mins in, not even made any physical contact so said 'we are coming up to time'. Oh well, I can't stay if I can't do coke, so he went. Fine. **** him because I don't want the stuff near me or near the apartment I am renting so he can go home and cry to mommy if he doesn't like it.

And that's it. No bookings at all for the entire rest of the weekend. May as well be at home where I can watch the telly and relax in stead of sitting here bored out of my mind. Had enough.

Sorry to hear it?s been poo. Not been great here but I?m putting that down to the weather and holiday weekend coming up. I?m preparing to go into hibernation, every bank holiday brings out the weirdoes, I don?t think the weekend is going to be busy so not going to bother working. Hope things get better for you xx

Sorry things havent gone any better for you.

Long holiday weekend maybe wasnt the best weekend to work and with the weather being as nice as it is - well it is in Scotland anyway.

Holiday weekends can be the worst time for guys trying to get away from their other halves.  :( :FF

Aw honey  :-* Yep, call it day.  I would.  Have a nice hot shower and brush the day off.  Get yourself home and have some proper 'you time'.  Sorry your day was crappy, there will be better days!  Hugs xx

Well I've had a shit time too... nothing but loads of timewasters, then two clients that booked... that and then I had to cancel because my period decided to turn up... Not fun... Not fun at all.

At least the hotel was cheap and I had to be in the area anyway :)

xx

The timewasters seem to be out in force today because that's all I've had as well.

It's normally dead for me at bank holidays weekends.  I'm not working this one as I have a wedding.  I bet you when I get back on Tuesday night my inbox and voicemail will be full of messages from clients I missed. sod's law.

Go home, have a nice bath and couple of drinks, chill out and hopefully it will get better next week.  My fingers are crossed for you.

Unfortunately, timing is everything in escorting - well most of the time - I can only speak for Scotland primarily but if you get the timing wrong you are on to a hiding.

In the football season if either of the big teams are playing in Glasgow on the Saturday/Sunday then you are wasting your time working either of these days/both of these days.  I know not every guy is a football fan but this rule usually works especially IF you have to book a hotel/apartment for they are usually more expensive over the weekend.

If there is football on the television then you can bet your bottom dollar that IF you get any calls at all they will be from timewasters.

Booking a hotel for bookings when it suits US without considering clients IS WORKING SUICIDE.   The people we have to consider first - though I don't like admitting this - is the guys.  If you MUST book a hotel, then book one that you can cancel ON THE DAY - and make sure this is a definite thing - some hotels make cancellation date the day before/2 days before arrival - so dont fall for this and NEVER ASSUME it is on the day cancellation.  This can be very costly if you do.

At least if you have not received any calls/bookings that have been confirmed - not that this is 100% for sure they will turn up - you can cancel the hotel and not lost anything.

Take next week for instance.

Monday - Bank holiday - no sense working - expecting minimal calls so I'll just chill.
Tuesday - Similar to Monday and guys will have probs getting away from significant others on days like this, so another chill day.
Wednesday - Take grandson in from school so not available to work till after 6 pm = no work for me as I will not start at this hour.
Thursday - Medical appointment - is it worth it being so near the end of the week > nah I'll not bother.
Friday - Family Day for me always and not negotiable so no work today.
Saturday/Sunday - I dont work weekends.  They are ME time.

So that takes us back to Monday which so happens is when I am starting a tour, so for guys who wish to see me 'in my own area' - they are on to plums but realistically I don't think there will be much work around anyway, so I'll just chill.

As it happens I'm absolutely loaded with cold and couldnt work even if i wanted to but this example of how my week would be going is typical of a week WHEN YOU SHOULD NOT BOOK A HOTEL ROOM for IMO I would only be giving myself grief and stress worrying if my phone was going to ring and it could cost me for advertising if I wanted to try and pull some extra in, so for me, CHILL TIME.

Hope everyone has the kind of week they want ............ ME ??? ................ I'm staying in bed nursing this flippin cold.  :'(
