Had a call from a guy supposedly representing the 118 directory service. Apparently, they get calls 'all the time' from men requesting contact numbers for escorts and have a long list from which they pick. :-\ the next few moments were taken up with me saying 'what the 118?' And you find theses numbers and are happy to give them out?' And 'what the 118?!'. Quite a few more times. But yes, he assured me. 'Ok' says me 'can I have the number for a nuclear missile supplier' not that I'm suggesting a sesh with me is that explosive. He ploughed manfully on. 118, have picked little ol me to offer this deal ; for any bookings they refer to me its just ?10 charge to myself, and get this, only if the booking actually takes place! At this point I openly started laughing and expressed how dubious I was to the genuineness of the offer and disconnected. Wish I hadn't though, the mind boggles. Would the men with moustaches jog up to my door 'did u get the job Kizz?' And 118 training programmes 'no stacey. Owo is oral without, not only wanking offered!' Lol. It amused me! ::)

Err they do get these enquiries, and often if they don't have anyone listed they use information from google instead.

Wow! i am absolutely amazed! i mean how do they get their money? Remember he assured me 'only if the booking takes place'. How do they check? Would i not say everyone was a no show? And surely, if it's based on actual bookings as apposed to advertising, seems to show a fairly direct link to 'immoral earnings'.
Seems very dodgy to me. xx
p.s. no money upfront too.

An ex-flatmate of mine used to work for 118, he made really good money by getting escorts and parlours to sign up! I wasn't working at the time, so didn't pay much attention, but he must have done soemthing right as they always renewed!
Not sure about the ?10 fee though, I can't see how that would be enforced..?

If you call some of the 118 services (a variety exist, with a very wide range of prices) then, for an appallingly high fee, they will connect the call for you to the number they've given. The fee is often in two parts - one just for having their computer dial the number, and one which depends on the length of the call.
Can they listen into the call? Dunno.
I can't see how they'd enforce it either. If you don't pay up for x% of the calls you get, you get dropped from the list?
